Well built septic cap that fits well on my ABS drain pipe. I purchased the non-threaded version to fit on a 4” waste pipe that I will be installing. 4” ABS has the same outer diameter as PVC.

FYI In fairness Enviro Design Products, I've reached out to the company for their feed back on my question. However, I've been around plumbing for a long time and I don't see how this 4.5" RV Cap is going to work on a 4" sewer pipe. And they advertized the cap as a 4"cap.

Works great. We had to get an adapter to use it, but we really like that we can lock to keep everything out.

The description states that the ID of the "base" is 4-1/4. It is not. The "base", the part that actually connects to a pipe is 4-1/2" interior dimension. Will have to use some sort of coupling to get it to fit properly on a 4-1/4" OD pipe.

I put a clean out/ RV drain spot in my sewer pipe at my house and this worked perfect (lockable so kids don't "loose" things and plug up my drain field.
