Compact
I did not read the description carefully to see that the size is only 5.2 x 1 x 7.5 inches rather than the standard comic book size. That is why there are over 400 pages. If it had been standard size then it would probably have been less than 300 pages. Still a good value for the money and the cartoon squares are a reasonable size.

This comic has historical value.
I'm a school librarian and my students are always asking for comics. This is a comic that has some value for its historical perspective. It's a kind of cultural survey as it presents how teen girls are portrayed over the decades. But, be aware that it is pretty sexist. But,of course, that's how society was back then.

Spectacular
I have been reading Archie comics for awhile now and I just love them. Betty and Veronica are my favorite characters and seeing the changes through the decades are so cool. I like reading the comics and they have a funny side to each and every one of them, even some great twists. 🤗👍🏻

a dandy piece of Archie nosta;goa
Neat history The stories are good beginning in the 1940's. It is interesting to see how the drawings have evolved over the years. It is presented on the old comic book paper with a paperback cover and is slightly smaller than the original comics were. The book is a good bargain at any rate. I think most Archie fans would enjoy it.

Lots of comics from old to new
Was ok. The comics featured all sorts of Betty and Veronica, starting from earlier eras to more modern ones. I personally enjoy the later comics (80's and up) so reading through the older ones wasn't my cup of tea - but if you enjoy B&V from all eras then you'll enjoy this!

Historical recount?
This is a lovely way to revisit the history behind the comics, remembering how much society has changed in 50 years. The graphics and colours are really clear on my iPad too.

Totally worth it!
This is a true classic collection! Starting with the first ever Betty and Veronica all the way up to the present, this book provides a clear history of the dynamic duo! Between the different stories and looks of the two protagonists through the decades, this is a must read!

After enjoying the new Riverdale TV series, chose a few Archie themed comics to read and this was a pleasure from start to finish. The first stories were a little odd compared with the later material but very few dud tales in this small but full comic book of over 400 pages.

I love these "Best Of" issues of Archies
I love these "Best Of" issues of Archies. If you are a fan of the series, you will love it too, as it feels like you're taking a walk through the history of Archies. You get a look at the comics from each era and these issues are filled with anecdotes and things that you probably never noticed when you were a kid. For example, did you know that Veronica usually as heels on, because it is to show that she is rich and doesn't have to walk to places, whereas Betty doesn't have them on often, as she does have to walk to places. Great buy! I have three of these issues now ^_^

The Best of Betty and Veronica Reviewed
I was happy that they were the focus of this new BEST OF ARCHIE book. There are so many good stories that focus on the two girls. The only thing I didn't like about this book were the comics from the 1940's. I found them interesting to look at, but I could only read one or two of them. I'd like to say that I read them all, but I can't lie. I didn't like them at all. The girls were barely recognizable and very hard to relate to. Yes, I realize it was the 40's and that's what girls were pretty much like back then, I just couldn't read it when I've grown up with Betty and Veronica having more solidified personalities that grew over the following decades.
