I was dealing with the dreaded P0014 code from my 2008 GMC Envoy. After replacing the vvt solenoid with an updated part, no luck and the code kept setting. I added this part today and no problems. The code is gone. This is the part to use as the updated part with spring over the mesh is longer, causing the exhaust cam phaser to be stuck open in my case. Very happy and grateful that this part worked! I changed the solenoid, sensor, got an oil change, used Sea Foam, got the oil changed again and nothing. Then, I put this part in and voila! No more problems!
