Ok before you buy this...know that with this product come 2 metallic plates. You have to STICK those metallic plates onto your phone. I didnt know about the plates when I ordered it. It looked to me like as if the magnet was going to hold the phone without the metallic plates. But, you have to stick the places inside your phone's case for this to work. or stick the plate on the back of your phone...that's kinda stupid...I dont know anyone who would put up with a round metallic plate on their phone. But anyhow, I use this with an iPhone 6Plus and a Nexus 7 (which is a tablet). So, for the 6+, I took it's cover off and placed the round metalic plate inside the cover. ****I first covered the metalic plate with some thin plastic because I know this thing will scratch your phone as the metal continuously comes in contact with the back*****for my Nexus tablet...I TOOK OFF THE BACK of the device and stuck the metallic plate inside the device...I know that seems odd, but you can take the backs off of Nexus so it's easy. Both of these devices now hold strongly against the magnet.When driving, it seems that the magnet is strong enough to hold the phone and tablet in place...so, I dont feel like it's going to drop.Aesthetically, you cant beat it...having your phone plugged into your vent cleanly is pretty cool. No more trying to find a place for it when I'm trying to drive. You just stick it on and forget it. Even though it needs these metal plates, I would buy it again.

I was intrigued by the concept of a magnet. Seemed as though it would be so much easier than fighting with whatever mechanism would hold my device. Product arrived on time and as expected. Magnetic mechanism worked well. The failure came when I tried to install the mount in my car. The suction cup did not function at all. There was no secondary lever to secure the suction cup and it never attached to my dashboard. However, the seller had great customer service and the purchase price was refunded as soon as the item was returned. Though this product did not work out I would purchase from this seller again based on their great customer service.

This thing is brilliant, and massively convenient. After going through many different phone holders for my car, I decided to give this magnetic one a go and see how it does. Well, its great -- I keep the metal piece between my phone and the case, and I never notice its there.The only complaints that I have is after a few months of use, when I pull my phone off the magnet, sometimes the magnet comes with it and doesn't stay on the air vent. That's annoying.Also this holder is great for ~5" phones. We also have a 6" phone that is kind of unweildy on there. It's also an Android device, and the magnet seems to interfere with functions on the phone -- causes the trouble with the bluetooth, makes the screen go weird occasionally. However with my iPhone 6 its fine.

GREAT PRODUCT IF YOUR CASE IS SILICONE AND THIN. WON'T WORK WITH OTTER CASES OR THE MORE ROBUST ONES. SPENT MORE TIME GROVELING ROUND ON THE FLOOR UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE DRIVING, TRYING TO RETRIEVE MY PHONE THAN ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO ENJOY USING IT. SLIGHT BUMP IN THE ROAD? OOPS THERE IT GOES AGAIN. THIS COULD CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT. I CONSIDER MYSELF A SAFE DRIVER FOR THE MOST PART BUT THE THOUGHT OF MY EXPENSIVE, NEW IPHONE 6S PLUS BEING CRUSHED UNDERFOOT WHILE DRIVING, TOOK OVER MY BETTER JUDGEMENT OF AVOIDING A COLLISION AND MY INSTINCT WAS TO IMMEDIATELY PICK IT UP EACH TIME IT FELL. HAD TO BUY A NEW CASE. LESS PROTECTION, COSTLY MISTAKE BUT AT LEAST NOW IT STAYS IN PLACE FOR THE MOST PART.

I bought the vent clip for myself and the mount for my dad. We both have the iPhone 6 Plus (which it says it works with) I have an Otterbox, but the commuter style so it's pretty thin and lightweight. The magnent would hold for about 30 seconds and my phone would fall. I tried many different methods of rigging it up, but nothing worked. I even tried switching phone cases and it was just worse. The vent clip itself stays securly on the vent, that was impressive enough but it won't hold, so there's no point in that. The mount that my dad has does not work one bit. We had the exact same results, the only difference was that the mount wouldn't even stick to his dash board. I hate to write bad reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I definitely would not recommend this brand.

Really convenient could be magnetize all along the back of the phone to be Even more convenient and helpful. Nevertheless it is so nice to have my iPhone 6 Plus on my dash and not obliterating the displays on the car. It swivels 360° But there's just one thing, when the heat is on, the vent's hot air warms the phone more than I Think it should. I haven't noticed that it affects the quality of the phone operation, but one of the phone instructions and warnings is not to leave it in the sun or to let it get overheated. Nevertheless, I'm still using the Bracket under advisement.

Device flits easily onto air vents and the magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6. It doesn't lose grip when going over bumps if you have it lined up properly (You need to attach a metal plate to your phone or your case for it to work). I attached the plate to my phone which is inside a case so at first it was tough to know exactly where to place my phone against the magnet for maximum hold, but now it comes naturally and my phone hasn't fallen off the magnet in months.

The only problem I had with it was that it left a stain for my phone case that is very hard to get rid of. Other than it everything else was fine.
