Mexican Vanilla Beans, Gourmet quality (Superior Grade)

This came in a double sealed envelope and then packaged in a nice decorated paper bag and double sealed in a thick plastic bag. I took pictures of everything but I couldn't get my phone to connect to review. The smell was amazing, my whole kitchen smells of vanilla. The beans were pliable, moist, there were 5 beans about 6 inches long and weighed exactly 12 grams as in the description. I definitely will buy again. I was not disappointed!

We make a lot of our own kitchen staples, including vanilla extract. These beans were far and away more exceptional than any we’ve had before. I’ve used vanilla beans from different regions, but the best and most flavorful I’ve found so far are from Mexico. These ones were everything you should expect from Mexican Vanilla beans.

I am VERY impressed with these beans. I could smell the scent through the unopened amazon bubble envelope - a testimony to their quality. They were not dried out, are extremely pliable and I can not wait to taste the finished extract. I truly appreciate the quality here, and you will too.

I use small bottles to make vanilla extract with these and I had to put extra vanilla beans in because these weren’t very strong and didn’t have a lot of beans

I use these to make the most incredible vanilla bean ice cream and then once I've extracted all the seeds, I use the bean pods to make my own delicious vanilla extract. These are somewhat drier than I'd hoped for, but are certainly fresher than other bean pods I've purchased in the past.

I heard Mexican bean vanilla made awesome vanilla extract and it does. As I assessed my order I noticed how airtight the vanilla bean was kept inside the box. The beans were moist and pliable and thick with seeds. I set it up just like I do for all vanilla extract and this was good for use in 30 days. Other vanilla extract a good 60-90 days. But The aroma of the Mexican bean vanilla filled the air in the room with a very smooth, creamy flavor with a hint of spice. And I used the beans making my first bottle of Mexican vanilla extract. I can’t wait to give my friends a bottle of this awesome extract for Christmas.

Unimpressed. Appearance same as cheapest Madagascar vanilla beans, 10/pkg. If I held them side by side I would not know the difference. Received ONLY 4 BEANS VS THE 5 BEANS PROMISED. ~6” long, dark & dry. Aromatics similar to Madagascar beans…weak characteristic aroma may possibly be very slightly different but not enough to make a distinction. I’m disappointed bc my past experience w Mexican vanilla was so positive. Now, I’d recommend getting another bag of Madagascar beans instead. PS ordered the same day as the Madagascar beans. Arrived 2 weeks later w delay notifications.

Using these beans to make vanilla for baking. Can't wait until January to see how it turns out. It is smelling & looking good so far!
