For the price, this collar actually offers a large amount of versatility. First off, the quality is spot on, very good stitching and quality materials. Secondly, it features the ever famous and my all time favorite buckle, by Austri Alpin. This buckle is one of a kind, featuring solid aluminum milled pieces and brass parts, it will never wear out, unlike some plastic buckles. Thirdly, it is a US made product, by US veterans, which is a great plus.How does this compare to SignatureK9? I actually have one of their collars, but it doesn't have a buckle, just straight velcro and because of that, I ended up modifying it to work easier. Both these companies manufacture their collars by hand in the US which is good. Both the collars are similarly priced and offer high quality materials. The difference? Signature K9 does not use a Cobra buckle, instead using the cheaper, but quality, US made Raptor Buckle, at least on most of their models. With the difference between the two buckles it is, in my opinion, worth spending the extra money for the Cobra buckle. That being said, if you didn't know the difference, you would still be happy with the Raptor buckle.This collar is an every day wear collar for my GSD mix. He is no work dog, but a simple house/yard dog that has an uber tacticool enthusiast owner. Still, with the velcro, it is very versatile in adding velcro name tapes, as I did, and other, probably pointless, patches. In my case, I have a dog tracker by Tagg, two different reflective name tapes, and an extra piece of velcro to keep it together at the buckle (since you cannot feed the webbing through the buckle properly ((which might not be a problem with the Raptor buckle)).This collar is very convenient. Because the dog sleeps in the bed with me, it is very easy to detach his collar and set it by the door every time he comes inside. The simplicity allows me to take it off without any complicated procedures or extra time.The last thing I will mention is that my wife has expressed that the metal triangular ring is very easy to attach leashes to when taking him for a walk. She also enjoys the benefit of being able to remove the collar without having to adjust it every time.In conclusion, I would recommend this collar to all my GSD owners and, like my SigK9 collar, have received plenty of compliments from other people when I take him out.

I researched collars for over 3 hours and decided on this one. My dog is my life, and I want him to be safe as possible. I often take him on bike rides, and we go very fast, The last thing I want is for my dog collar to fail and him run into traffic or worse. This thing is very durable. The official Cobra clip, and D ring are great features that keep my mind at ease when taking the dog out, I no longer feel like my dog will "break away". The Velcro lets me add other cool patches as well, and makes for one good looking collar.If you are looking for a durable and good looking collar for a lrger dog, this is the one I'd recommend.

Great collar! Fits my GSD well, lots of adjustability and the convenience of the cobra buckle can't be best for the dog collar, we used to leave the leather collar on her neck 24/7 now she only has a collar on when we are going somewhere.I can't see this collar wearing out, if it gets dirty I will simply pressure wash it, only comment is is wish the attachment for the leash went parallel to the dog rather than perpendicular.

I just can't say enough about how much I love this collar. It fits my girlfriend quite nicely. It's real quality and attention to detail. I've put it through it's paces and just love it.

I am giving this 3 starts only bc the material is starting to separate just after 3 weeks. Otherwise it is a pretty good collar.

Easily adjustable with great retention, the quality of the buckle, nylon "frame," velcro, and the stitching holding it all together are all top notch. I waited a couple weeks and beat on it before reviewing and it shows no sign of wear.

A little pricey for a dog collar but gotta have my buddy looking cool! This collar is definitely well made and my dog seems to like it too. I have no doubt it will last for a long time and I'm happy with my purchase!

Best dog collar ever! So strong, well made and easy to take off but only if you want it to come off. I love the cobra buckle! The size adjustability is great! Perfect for a growing Pitbull.
