First of all this is really cute. Second, it is good to keep baby warm through the freezing cold, not only head but also neck area. The inner lining is not itching like other winter hat I think, thats why my baby always loves to wear it and never throws it.

We just traveled on a plane and my baby was sick, so I got the hat to protect his from complications of ear infection. I needed something warm & comfy. It covers ears and neck cause my baby would not tolerate any scarf around his neck at 10-month-old. Description says perfect for ages from 2-5 but my son is big for his age, so it fit his head, a little big on top, but it was not an issue for me. The model that I got has even a visor which is good for outside wearing.

Reducing the stars as we received a defective piece and the new one will reach us next week even when the product is deemed as Prime.Though the product looks good and covers most of the parts of face as described. Would have increased the stars if not for the above reason.Update 12/07: Increasing the rating by 1 Star. As I said before the Hat is really great and would benefit in cold weather.

Fit my 2 yr old perfectly. May be too small next yr but my daughter was kept warm and she liked wearing it on those cold Canadian winter days.

Purchased this hat for a baby Halloween costume. It was going to be cold outside so it worked great. The fleece liner was very soft and the quality was good. I was worried she was going to be uncomfortable if the opening was pulled down (not covering her mouth) but it was fine and she didn't mind wearing it. I wish the ears were a bit more constructed, but I know there are limitations in knitting. Overall happy
