Although my old Pace sky box still worked, it only had scart lead connections. I want to buy a new TV but modern TVs do not have scart connectors anymore. By upgrading to this SkyHD plus box I now have both a scart connection to use while I still have my old TV and a HDMI connection ready for a new TV.Installation and set up was incredibly easy and although its not the Wi-Fi model I found I did not need to ring Sky or go online to pair the sky card. It just seemed to do it as part of the set up process. It could be because I only have a basic channel package but the settings show the card is paired and I have all the channels including the premium ones that I used to have.The unit itself and the accessories all looked brand new and it came in a sky plus box. A great buy and some good set up instructions included. I downloaded a user manual from the internet.

The price was good and it said it was brand new, when it arrived, though, it was clear that it was a refurbished item. However it was refurbished to a high standard and I am fine with that as you can't buy this from Sky anymore. The remote control while of a lower quality is actually very light in comparison to an original unit which was a nice upside. Unit worked fine straight out of the box with no activation necessary with original Sky card, just inserted the card in the slot and it works straight away. All in all, quite pleased for the price but it should say refurbished on the listing, not brand new.

What a relief to exchange for this new one, no batteries included but the joy of not having to unfreeze the set!! Took a few mi tests to set up and old sky card worked fine in new set. Good price also.

Delivery was a day late for some reason but apology was sent. Box was new and easy to install.

Brand new unit unlike the refurbished units Sky are now offering. Plugged in, put in viewing card and ready straight away. Followed pairing notes supplied and all happened in an hour. Highly recommended.

Swift delivery and easy to set up as a replacement for old and ailing Sky HD box. Very pleased.

The box arrived with 2 sheets of A4 instructions on how to install it and link the remote control to your tv, which were very easy to follow. All the cables you need were in the box along with batteries for the remote control. I couldn't connect my box to my wifi, but was still able to pair the sky viewing card with instructions on the handy sheet. Box works well, picture is great. Delighted I bought this from this seller

Speedy response to queries before purchase, fast delivery by Royal Mail, plugged in, set up and no problems. We were upgrading from an old Sky box to Sky+, already had a basic Sky package and just had to pair Sky card to new box (on-line).
