Good Quality. Works Great.
Forget about the brand name on this torque wrench and just use it. It works great. The quality is good. It is serving me well. I use it on my motorcycle. When I have torque specs, I use a torque wrench. Usually. I used to own a Craftsman torque wrench, and this one works just as well. If I were a professional mechanic, working for a living, torquing lots of nuts and bolts, I would probably purchase a Snap- On or something. But for my own use, which is occasionally, this one is effective. I recommend it.

Good product; uneasy about the protection plan
I bought the 3/8"-drive Amazon Basics torque wrench. I could have spent a lot more, but no reason to think more $ = more quality. I also read the 1-star reviews for every brand I considered. I concluded that every brand sends out X% junk torque wrenches. So I bought this one and paid Amazon for an Amazon 3-year warranty. Amazon will be around in 3 years, right. The wrench arrived in 24 hours, shiny, hew, apparently perfect. I put it right to work. I'd bought a new Ego LM2156SP battery-powered lawnmower to replace my old Honda-powered Craftsman gasser. Guess what, the Craftsman was metal; the Ego is plastic. On the Craftsman, I just tighten the bolt until it's snug, then once more till I grunt. Do that on the Ego and I will strip something. Don't switch blades without a torque wrench? Like working on a carbon-fiber bicycle. The torque wrench worked perfectly as advertised. What more can I say? I little hard for my old eyes to dial in the numbers, but once I did, it clicked like it should. Plenty of length on the bar to get 60 NM without staining myself. Of course I have no way of knowing if it was accurate. Now, the extra "warranty" I paid Amazon for. It's from Asurion. I gave up trying to read all the 1-star Asurion reviews on Amazon! I hope this torque wrench marches on, because I have little confidence in my extra warranty! Wish I had been more careful. I should have noticed a third party was involved in the warranty before I bought it!

Torque wrench. As described
Seems durable. Cant say for sure. Well packaged in a hard case. Looks like good tool. Has Amazon Basics labeled on it.

Reliable Torque Wrench for Motorcycle Work
This 3/8-inch drive torque wrench is perfect for motorcycle maintenance, like removing seats or tightening bolts. The click mechanism is easy to use, and the 15-80 ft.-lb range covers most torque specs for bikes like my ZX6R. Pro tip: always reset the wrench to the lowest setting after use to maintain accuracy over time. Solid tool for precise work!

Looks nice
Bought but didn't use. It looks nice though! Seems like it will work fine.

Test immediately!
Failed to test this right away and on the first use it wouldn’t click! I try ed to use it 36 days after I purchased it and that ended up being 6 days past the return window. Save yourself some time and buy one in your local area!

Great budget torque wrench
Everything about this torque wrench appears to be a chrome plated Tekton wrench. My guess is Tekton made this as an OEM model to be rebadged for whomever wants to sell them. The overall quality is fine for it's price. It's an old fashioned, low tooth count torque wrench. The grip has a fine knurling and is good enough for oily/greasy hands to hold on to.The only complaint I have is the legend is rolled into the handle and can be a little difficult to read, but it won't rub off from use.I can't confirm its accuracy as I don't have a meter to check it. It worked fine on several projects for me, that needed to be within several pounds. I can only assume that it must be reasonably accurate. For a budget wrench it's worth it's price for occasional use. I would recommend opening the head and using some red lithium grease on the main gear and pawls. Also, never store it with full or no torque. Always store it with a little bit of torque. Max torque or no torque will cause the main spring and other parts to either deform or separate over time.

Cheaply made. Disappointing Amazon Basics product.
I always like Amazon Basics because it normally brings you quality items at a competitive price. Not this one. The adjuster doesn't align well. You expect it to sit exactly on the mark when adjuster reads 0. One this wrench it sits between two marks. Every rotation etches a groove on the wrench itself. It looks used since the very moment you take it out of the packaging
