Good fit

Bought 4 packs = 8 snap caps for my ks7. Packaging was fine. Easy to open and remove the snapcaps. First thing I noticed is that they came a bit marred. Package says precision milled, but they probably are dumped into a large pile and knick each other before packaging. They loaded into my shotgun no problem, but there is a metal retainer in the gun. You can see from one of my images, it does leave a scratch line on the shells. That's fine. More wearing on the shell hopefully means less wearing on the firearm. All snapcaps cycled flawlessly. My suggestion to folks is to do this away from a wall and hard wood flooring. These are metal and drop with a thud. Left indents on my hardwood.Overall, they function and work as intended. Being that these are metal, depending on the firearm, these could wear out components on the firearm over time. And like standard firearm safety, be aware of your surroundings and where these metal snapcaps could fly out and land. Good made in the USA product.

They simulate the REAL SHELL weight and feel. It feels like you are loading live shotgun ammo. Which is a good safety practice for young and old. beginner and advanced shooters.

I've cycled this many times, in a Mossberg 12 gauge. You know when you get that feeling and want to hear that shuck shuck sound but don't want to chamber a live round. It has some weight to it. It cycles good, no jams. It does ding up quickly and puts little pin holes near what is a plastic or rubber primer, but overall it's a good snap cap for safe handling of your shotgun, function checking or dry firing safely. I included a 2 3/4 12 gauge #4 federal buck with star crimp for comparison. I recomend.

Lets face it ammo is expensive, these allow for safe, cost effective training. My shotguns are set up for home defense and I do a lot of dry fire and loading drills with them. These snap caps weigh near enough to a loaded 00 buck to provide accurate training. Both my Remington 870 and Mossberg 500 did not have a problem loading or cycling. The latter of the two was a new shotgun and for grins and giggles I did the initial 200 load/cycles with these, don't worry guys I still put in the range time before putting it into home defense service. Since these snap caps are made from aluminum they were not eaten up from the extractor, though there was scratching it was light and did not affect function. As stated earlier these will provide an more cost effective training tool for you.

They’re a snap cap. Not much else to say. Much better made than the plastic ones.

Having tried other A-ZOOM snap caps in the past, these 12 Guage A-ZOOM snap caps work just as I thought they would. I have never had a 12 Guage shotgun and the A-ZOOM product is a very good product in my opinion. I have used other rifles and pistols with snap caps from different manufactuers, but none match the quality of the A-ZOOM products. Gary in CT.
