If you haven't found the thank you for the occasion in this book, my first thought is that you really don't want to say thanks in the first place 😉

Gave copies to my college age son and high school aged niece for Christmas along with some personalized stationary. Probably not what they were hoping for... teehee. But the content is good and the message is clear....SEND A THANK YOU NOTE!! Luckily a few other gifts kept the moment from being awkward.

I was hoping this book would offer lots and lots of thank you and gratitude quips. I like to write a quip in my thank you notes and I thought this book would offer hundreds. However, its more of a Emily Post type book offering how to write Wedding thank you notes, Baby thank you notes, job thank you notes, clergy thank you notes, etc. I won't use any of those suggestions. I was just hoping for simple 4-line thank you suggestions and again offer lots of heartfelt quips/quotes. Also many of the suggestions seem a little "fake" for example: "We can't thank you enough for the spectacular cookware! You know we love to cook....we're sure to be in fierce competition with world-class chefs". (Would someone really say that? If someone wrote that in a thank you note to me, I would probably roll my eyes.) Also, text is so small....hard to read.

I purchased this book for my 17 yr Grandaughter, she & I found very helpful for many situation for etiquette writings.

Best for grads! Writing thank you notes is an art that every adult needs to learn!! Yes, if someone gives you something you must write a thank you note!!
