I volunteer for medical and as a firefighter for festivals like Burning Man. I have purchased a few of these pairs so that I can wear them on my volunteer shifts, to make me more approachable to festival goers that are scared of any uniformed people.Unfortunately, these shoes are entirely too appealing at times, and I will get bombarded by the festival goers who are spectators, whilst I am trying to assist those with medical emergencies. So I only wear them on my nights off to run around and enjoy the event.They're great conversation starters, and it makes it easier for friends to find me.... though, I have been known to gift them to a complete stranger halfway through the night... just to confuse my friends.When they are full charged, they last about 5 hours, which is not bad. Also, It might not seem a lot, but they last about 3 to 5 nights out at a Burning Man festival, which is uncommon for any pair of shoes out there, after that they are just a comfy pair of shoes that don't light up.

Well, these were a hit as a gift for a 12 year old! She counted 38 compliments from random people on the street in the 30 minute walk through the city.She said they’re comfortable, easy to charge and fun to wear. They’re her dancing shoes now!

My inner 12 year old is squealing with delight at these blinky, flashing, glowing, multicolored light up shoes. They are way more awesome than I expected, and nothing like the light up shoes for little kids that only blink when you step. A complete panoply of colors and patterns- steady state, rapid cycling through the colors, a slow fade effect- everything about these shoes makes me giddy. I'm pretty certain that the alternating light patterns will aggravate and annoy any other adult within viewing range, unless they possess a joie de vivré equal to that of the wearer.They fit fine, which is really good because I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear because they weren't available in my size, and I just had to own light up shoes! I would have tolerated discomfort for this awesome blinky footwear, but luckily there is no need.

Roomy, so if you have wide feet or your feet swell from standing or other reasons, you'll still be comfortable. The colors are vibrant. When charging, they blink red. Once done charging, they stay solid red. Very comfortable. Bottom is cushy. These are more comfortable than the other sneakers I own. Just got them today and am looking forward to wearing them out at night. Well made and sturdy. Quality fabric and other materials. Worth the $. I used the $3 coupon and paid $47.

One is for myself and the other is for my niece. They are actually really comfortable shoes. As you can see from my photos, they are amazing when lit! Be aware that the “White color” option is more of a light gray color with white soles. My niece actually liked this better, but some may find this annoying.
