Star Wars: A New Hope: v. 4 (Manga S.)

Great detailed artwork, amazing emotions displayed by all the characters at complete compliment to the illustrator. I really like the big brother, little brother teasing between Han and Luke. The space battle is great fast passed lots of explosions I think they captured the film perfectly. I have read other reviews saying that it is not a stand alone book it is not supposed to be. It is volume 4 for a reason. You should only buy these if you are a Star Wars fan. I think the serise is great, I am glad I bought everyone of them.

Fast delivery and perfect for a star wars fan

I purchased the fourth book in the New hope Series and was not dissapointed, the attention to detail is superb as is the drawing.These books are great for any manga or Star Wars lover.However, this has also been mentioned in another review and i noticed myself, these books only show a very short part of each movie, so decide which part you would most like to see illustrated and by that first. I do not recommend that you by all 4 at once, you may love them, but there is also the chance that you will hate them so better off spending 5 quid rather than 20 on somthing you dont dig.Last point, as well as this i have purchased the 2nd book in the empire strikes back series, an i must say the illustrator (Toshiki Kudo) isn't half as good as the illustrator for A New Hope(Hisao Tamaki). It may just be a personal preference but i thought i'd let you know any how!

Neat manga version of Star Wars. May not blow your mind away though.

Again, Hisao Tamaki captured the action an tension of the Death Star battle, don't miss the oportunity to live the Death Star trench run un manga style, I never imagined that was so stressing! Add that to the spectacular sigh of the Death Star blowing up and you'll almost feel like you're one recieving the medal.
