Manhattan Portage East Village Bag

I've been carrying Manhattan Portage bags of various shapes and sizes pretty much since the company started, in 1983. I actually still have/use my original one, and it's in great condition - the color is as bright as ever, not a hole or a scratch.They seriously never wear out. But I'm something of an MP addict now, so I had to have this little East Village Bag in purple, and it does not disappoint. Perfect for my long walks, holds my phone, slim wallet, small water bottle, lip gloss, tissue, keys and a bit more if I need. I love that the zipper on the flap gives access to not just the flap pocket, but a whole rear outside pocket (which is joined to the flap pocket, but can serve separately when the flap is closed). First off, this is a very sturdy bag, no complaints at all on the construction. However, I probably would have put a zipper on the main compartment, and made the front flap and back of the bag separate. The way it works now is, when you open it, anything in the front flap slides into the back of the purse, which is awkward. I might fix this with some sticky velcro on the inside of the pocket.In general though, this makes a very good, lightweight, comfortable bag to carry around town.

Perfect for carrying essentials on your daily commute or weekend excursion like hiking, walks or bike / horseback riding. I take it to work with me everyday. It is so nice and small you can put it under your coat without it being obvious you have something under your coat. It is great way to carry books, snacks, and other little items that would be too large for your pockets. The best thing is that you don't have to lug around a backpack.

Great Product as expected from Manhattan Portage. I have had many MP bags over the years and have loved them all. This small bag purchased for carrying an extra lens, hood, rain cover, and a few other small extras for a Canon T3i. Not padded, but the minimalist size and classic MP style is perfect for what I was looking for. I did apply "Otter Wax" to the canvas exterior and the bag looks and performs great.

It was a step for me to consider a man's purse but this one is masculine and just the right size for a kindle and whatever else you want to carry. I used to have my pockets loaded with stuff and now that I have this unobtrusive shoulder pouch it's all in one place and if the bag is with me I know I have all my stuff. No forgotten items.

I was looking for a small bag that my husband could use just to carry a few things and not have to keep his wallet in his pocket all the time. This turned out to be the perfect solution. It's small enough, yet can hold a number of essentials - wallet, phone, ipod, etc. We loved it so much that some others in our family might purchase them too! Great buy!

CAN, FIT MY TABLET OR LAB TOP, AND STILL HAVE ROOM TO SPARELIKE THE COLOR IT VERY WELL MADE AND IT,S NOT TO BIG OF A SHOULDER BAG.,

The perfect size....I love it!

長財布と携帯と（タバコ）ほどしか入らないけど薄くて軽いのでちょっとした場面にはとても便利です。男性でも女性でもイケるデザインなので高校生の娘と息子が「貸して〜」と持っていきます。リュックのお供にも最適なサイズなので手放せなくなりそうです。一家三人で使いまわせてこの値段。買ってよかったです。

財布、タバコ、iPhone持ち歩きに便利です。
