Boldtext Pew Bible: King James Version

Unlike other dishonest reviews from non-Christian non-believers, I will explain my 2-star review. As this advertised to be January 1, 2000, Oxford edition it was not. I do note that "National Publishing Company" is mentioned at the top of the listing it clearly states in the Product description January 1, 2000, but I received a 1978 edition of poor quality. I am waiting for a response from the seller as the ISBN matches the Oxford edition, not National Publishing Company.I found three errors from the Authorized Text, Genesis 24:57 (inquire), Isaiah 59:17 (cloak), and Matthew 4:1 (spirit), which should be "Spirit". This was from a 102 verse comparison, not exhaustive. The worst problem I found was how thin the paper is. It doesn't seem to me that this is as well made as claimed in the description. As a " Pew" Bible I believe you should look elsewhere. Also, it has a "How the Bible Came to us" section at the beginning that isn't mentioned in the description. Most Pew Bibles are text only without references as they should be.Overall this is a poor quality Bible with two minor found errors, one serious error, and very thin paper that isn't suitable for fellowship or study if you like to highlight.See my review for a Holman Authorized Translation that is good quality. The greatest book ever written! This arrived quickly and I am happy with the quality. Please be aware of those who leave negative reviews without being a verified purchaser and mocking the Bible- a book they haven't read and are incapable of understanding!2 Corinthians 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.And we all know who the god of this world is!KJV is the best translation and the true word of God!

i have seen the POWER of GOD reading a Authorized KJV BIBLE i really believe it is the Pure Word of God i have seen supernatural Power of the Holyspirit using the Sword of the Spirit with the Authorized Bible, not only that the Holyspirit showed me that the KJV is written the way it is to preserve the beat and measure , the Word is a song, i stutter i know this because i can read the Word outloud and not stutter :) :) :) , FIRE of GOD , there are so many people on here bashing this book , but all the Modern English Bibles are counterfeits i have studied about it... the NIV is missing 64000 words , and is missing the word Sodomite because several of the translators were homosexuals, the NASB was translated by Emergents ... that do not believe that Jesus Christ is God , they must of missed the many scriptures in the bible showing the Jesus Christ is God , the Word is God , God is LOVE 1 cor 13 with 13 verses on Love , 12 deciples of Jesus, 13 is the head and the leader Jesus . Psalm 22 , Jesus Christ is LORD and GOD .

This is NOT the same bold text pew Bible as shown in one of the comments that has a picture of one of the pages showing a chapter of Luke.

I was somewhat disappointed upon receipt of this Bible. It is advertised as having large print but it is not as large as the description leads one to believe. I purchased this Bible for my husband who needed larger print. I am still looking for another Bible.

The book is no frills almost exactly as i expected. Only thing is, i think the book could have been a touch bigger to accommodate slightly larger font or spacing because the font is bold, the letters feel almost too close and cluttered. I've gotten used to it and i like it still.

This is your basic, black, inexpensive KJV Bible. If you're looking for hardcover, basic Bible- this is it. We used them as a donation to a hospital in the name of our grandfather. We simply added a bookplate In Memory Of with his name. Perfect for donations in memory of a loved one.

Leute waren an der Übersetzung der KJV beteiligt. Dies macht sich deutlich bemerkbar, denn: viele Köche verderben den Brei. So haben sich unzählige falsche Doktrinen eingeschlichen, die dazu führten, daß im gesamten englischsprachigen Raum nicht eine Gemeinde existiert, die den reinen Glauben hat.Darum: Finger weg!

After looking for a bible that sticked with the original script i have searched for a long time.Been looking through the text and now im able to say that the only bible that is almost like the original bible probably..would be the new king james bible.Its written in a good size so its easy to read.Love this bible and recommend it to all who really want to read the lords word.

Great bible. National Bible Publishers is recommended or "approved" by KJV purists. They don't try to discredit the KJV at all, as some publishers do.

The King James Bible is the best bible version you can find.Unfortunately with this one I had to return it because half of the New Testament was missing.

I am very impressed , this is an International quality bible for such an awesome priceHardbound and legible writing . just like the ones in churches in England and USA .. Fantastic JOB .. Highly recommended
