LENTION USB C Docking Station with 100W PD, 4K HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0/2.0, Aux Adapter for 2023-2016 MacBook Pro/Mac Air/Surface/Steam Deck, More, Stable Driver Certified (CB-D53, Space Gray)

I was using a USB Hub with my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro that had a very short connecting cable. The hub and all the cables connecting to it took up desk space so I looked for another solution. I needed something that I could connect an ethernet cable, an HDMI cable, and some USB cables that had a long enough USB-C cable to connect to my MacBook and get everything off of my desk. Surprisingly, most hubs and docking stations only have a very short cable, and the ones that have longer ones don't have all the ports I need. I found this docking station and it seemed to have everything I needed, at a reasonable price.It was easy to set up and everything seemed to work, except for the HDMI connection to my external monitor. I contacted support and they gave me simple steps to follow and helped me isolate what I had done wrong. Once I fixed that error, the HDMI connection worked, and could use my external monitor again.Now, instead of the hub and all the cables on my desk, I have the one connecting cable. Everything else is on the small table behind my desk that holds my monitor. I am very happy with the docking station and with the support.

I had pre-ordered the brand new M1 iMac in Rose Gold and was looking for a matching dock. Lention was the only brand I found that offered a functional dock in rose gold with pretty good reviews. My biggest concern was whether this would allow me to successfully connect my XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro to my iMac.This dock was PERFECT! The HDMI and USB port in the back allowed me to easily connect my iMac to my XP-Pen Display. At first, I got no signal to my XP-Pen, but it was my fault for plugging the USB-C cable into the wrong port on my iMac. Once I plugged my Lention dock it into the Thunderbolt port on my iMac, I immediately got signal and am now able to use my XP-Pen as a secondary display.Aside from the nice Rose Gold finish, the structure feels solid and the dock itself is very slim and compact, so it can be nestled right between my iMac and XP-Pen, preventing my setup from feeling bulky or cluttered.All in all, highly recommend especially if you're looking for an attractive dock to pair with the new iMac.

I purchased this product, and a couple of months after buying it the HDMI port stopped working!I thought about buying a new unit, but decided to contact customer service instead! It was a great experience, they went above and beyond to help me out; and after realizing that the unit was in fact defective, they sent me a new unit as a warranty replacement!The new unit is also working great!

Update 10/20/2020Lention customer service issued a refund. I told them, twice in two emails, that I want to send this back because it does not sufficiently power my devices without a 100w charger. Again, if you want a dock that will run a lot of USB devices, buy a high-end one like the CalDigit TS3 Plus (which is 87w and powers everything perfectly btw) or make sure you have a 100w charger and cable for this device. You could also buy a powered usb splitter. I have not tried a 100w charger or cable, so I still have my doubts that this will solve the issue.Update: 10/15/2020Lention has returned my email and offered a refund. The fix, according to Lention, is to have a 100w charger connected to the device. This is a non issue with docks that come with their own ac power. I wish I had done more research and known that my 87w charger would be insufficient to power all my devices on this dock. I do have to admit that, although it took a few days, Lention did offer a solution and a refund.I originally bought this dock for my office. After 3 months of use this dock stopped sending adequate power to my connected devices. Either that or something else is seriously wrong with it. Like mane others, I find myself running a webcam, and microphone these days for work. I also have usb speakers and an external hard drive. The issue first began when I noticed the microphone would disconnect. Then I noticed the sound was horribly crackly from the usb speakers. After that, I noticed my webcam recordings looked choppy. Connecting the devices directly to my MacBook Pro solved all these issues. I never noticed any issue with my two monitors or Ethernet.I contacted Lention costumer service and they were initially responsive. They asked me to send pictures of all my devices along with the make and model of each one. After sending this information, I haven’t heard back. I haven’t yet followed up.You get what you pay for, and if you want a quality dock, you need to spend plus $200. I bought a high end doc for my home office and I have never had any problems.This is my first review and despite knowing that I am doing work that Amazon gets to exploit, I felt compelled share.

There aren't many affordable USB-C docks/dongles out there with a detachable cable, but this one works great. I've had two for over 6 months now and both are still working great with nearly daily use. MacOS always remembers the monitor position, and I've only had trouble with the charging pass through once or twice, which was easily resolved by changing which port it was plugged into. The only downside is that it doesn't support 120hz refresh rate on my higher resolution gaming monitor, so I have to use an apple dongle for that. To me the trade off of having to plug in two cables sometimes is worth it over paying $200+ for other docks.

I got a laptop stand so the laptop would be higher up. I use an external keyboard and mouse and a external monitor. I had a different docking station it did the samething but the cable from the docking station to the laptop was hard fixed and very short. So when i raised the laptop up the docking station would hang off. I tried using extension cables but the best i could get was so only some devices would work. So i got this docking station, it has a detachable USB-C cable to the laptop. the cable it comes with is plenty long. All my laptop devices work and the laptop charges.It cost 2x as much for a detachable cable that was long enough to use with my laptop stand. Not happy but its a money issue not a device issue. The device works fine.

This hub works very great with my Macbook Pro 16". Been looking for a while for a solution that would provide at least 96W of power to charge my computer. I personally don't need all the extra USB ports, but it is great to have the options.

I bought this in the in the intention to clean my home setup and to speed-up/stabilized the internet connection using cabled internet. Since using this, only one cable is connected to my m1 macbook pro 16 inch. Great price and performance for a docking station!

Tal vez no exploto al 100 por ciento este producto por que no tengo varias pantallas y lo uso para trabajo, para mi le doy un 90 de 100 por el motivo de que tengo una pantalla mate view gt y le cuesta darle energía por usb c, la pantalla me parpadea y es realmente molesto, tuve que proyectar la segunda pantalla con el puerto hdmi, si eres gamer no creo que sea lo que estás buscando.
