Excellent product. Easy to swap the plates, easy to clean, reasonably sturdy all over. Our Daughter has one and my Wife saw it and said “Now that’s what you call a toastie machine”, so I bought this one, arrived the next day. So, now have a very happy Wife. Very good item, would recommend.

This product is perfect, I was looking for a long time for a product without teflon or other bad material. The ceramic surface is perfect, it’s actually easy to clean, I just wipe after use, the size is good, I made both regular and bigger sandwiches with no issues. It’s great to use!

Works well and does toast well filled sandwiches. Only downside at the moment is that you can't remove plates to clean. Otherwise a good product and toasts quickly.

Driver left my unwrapped parcel out in the rain so I was worried it wouldnt work but it's fine. Best sandwich toaster I've tried. Love it! It's small and sturdy, which is perfect for my poky wee kitchen and it looks smart.

We have recently had two sandwich makers go wrong... One a brevile where the lid just cracked on me when closing! My husband then bought a cheap version... Not one I would have chosen and it was awful... He then agreed with me how awful it was so I took the time and researched on Amazon. This one is fabulous... It is 900 watt compared to my precious 2 which were just 700 Watts! So it gets hotter and browna the bread really nicely! When it comes to cleaning it is so simple and and quick. I let it cool for a little while then wipe off the dried food with a kitchen towel before then using a damp cloth... No detergent. Be careful as it stays hot on the lid edges for quite a while... As i discovered 😊 This is also far better then some others in they you can use full size bread and put plenty of fillingbin... In fact, I find it browns the bread better when the bread is filled because it touches the plates more fully! I love the fact that Tower offer an extended free warranty... All you have to do is go to the Tower warranty register online and it takes seconds... They then send you an email to confirm the exte nded 2 years on top of the 12 month extended warranty. I did this also with my Tower iron... So straight forward. The price for this too is amazing... Especially because of the warranty but also how good it is. The actual thing feels so robust compared to others and it looks pleasing to the eye too. My daughter was really impressed with it when she stayed over a while, so much so that she asked me to order her one which was delivered today and she can't wait to use it. When I compare it to the last two I had and others when I researched, this one really stands out. I can't rate it high enough... Particularly when it costs so little. I think anyone would be impressed with this..

Once plugged in and switched on at the wall, the appliance is 𝐎𝐍, so a separate timer is handy, in case of distraction. I find 5 minutes is good for the bread** I currently use. Don't forget to switch it off at the wall when finished, as lifting the lid does 𝗡𝗢𝗧 (and it is easy to forget, as the lights are on the top of said lid)! Any new appliance ‘odour’ is not noticeable after the first run, I also found. Some steam is released when in use, so clearance above is required. APPROXIMATE SIZE: ~ CLOSED: 30 cm x 25 cm x 11 cm high ~ OPEN: the overall height is 27 cm ~ FLEX: around 60 cm (excluding the plug) The current stock images + the short stock video above are useful. ooOoo I took tips from one who has had the rose-gold version a good while and uses **𝐇𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐟, which is the best of a fair number tried to date. Not normally a fan of such, I was persuaded to use 2 x ‘cheese slices’ + cheese spread for my test runs. Putting a little butter or oil (as advised in the accompanying booklet*) on the outside of the bread makes for a crispier overall finish, which I prefer. As seen in my images below, we did get some leaking, so clearly more practice is required! However, it produces the best toasties I have had in a long while, if a bit brittle on the edge. Although non-removable, the ridged plates are non-stick and I find it much easier to clean up at the end than I was anticipating. As you would expect, the unit gets hot, so I let it cool down, then wipe with a thick, damp cloth; with a proper rub over to remove anything left, when cold. <<< EDIT: ‼️Check the narrow groove at the front for any food remains that have been packed in; this area can go unnoticed and be tricky to get out! >>> It is important to dry the machine off properly, before storing. To help preserve the non-stick, wood or silicone utensils should be used to remove the sandwich from the machine. I find that a sharp knife is required to cut the sandwich into the 2 triangles, once removed. Complete with *‘Safety & Instruction Manual’, it came neatly packed in a sturdy, branded cardboard box, measuring around 31.5 cm x 26.25 cm x 12 cm Register the product online for the extended guarantee. Time will tell re the durability of the ‘non-stick’ + the clip, which does feel a bit primitive but works fine, so far. With the price (at the time of order) a penny short of twenty pounds, I am happy ~ any problems, I will be back!

We have been using this every single day to make at least 4 toasties, since we got it in August. Yes the plates are designed for VERY large bread but I get around this by toasting my homemade GF sourdough toasties on just one half, ie makes 1 pocket instead of 2. See pic. I'm enjoying the fact that I'm cooking on a ceramic coating and not a plastic one. And if I need to I can order just new plates, not the whole machine which is such a waste. I've tried the waffle plates and found that I needed to put the waffles in the toaster afterwards to get them crispy - but the could be to do with my experimental GF recipe. I haven't tried the grill yet.

Appliance had an English style plug not AUstralian - this is ridiculous given it was an Australian site we were purchasing off of. And yes I could have returned it but is was a present for my daughter and she didnt open it to use is straight away so we had only realised a couple of weeks later. Disappointing. I am very lucky I have a son who is an electrician and could correct the issue.
