The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was able to create the projects quickly andto my delight.

These are lovely little scenes for embroidery/quilting. They would make good quilt blocks for applique/embellishment, or can be used for other types of embroidery as well. Well priced for the size.

Talented artist shares her knowledge and as a quilter I am thrilled with her book. I have her book on appliqued alphabets also and it is one of my treasured guides.

Finished several of the small quilts in this book! They turned out beautiful. Easy to follow patterns and instructions!

Cute designs, but not enough time yet to sew. Nice addition to my library.

I quilt, do applique and embroider and my favourite subjects are wildlife and flowers. Perfect. There are 8 mini quilts, each under 10" square, so some applique pieces are really tiny. The introduction warns us that they're "NOT for the fainthearted". Good eyesight, a steady hand and patience would be needed to achieve perfect results.The 4 designs not shown on the cover are a flower and leaves through an asymmetrical heart, a butterfly by fuchsias, a robin on a branch of apple blossom and a robin with holly. They are all very good but, for me, the four best are on the cover.The 32 pages are nicely laid out with illustrations, step-by-step instructions and template patterns.Why just 4 stars? Only because (1) it's thin, (2) I doubt I'll ever do more than just look at the cover and (3) because I was excited to receive the book and savour every word. The first things I read when I opened it up were don't enter them in competitions, don't raffle them, don't auction them without permission, don't reproduce any part of the book etc - the stuff you often find in books if you look hard enough for it - so not a friendly beginning. Petty reasons for not giving 5 stars perhaps when the detail in the pictures is so exquisite.

This is a stunning little book, I adore hand quilting and stitchery combined with embroidery so it's a perfect combination for me. The designs are so beautiful and the little wildlife animals are totally adorable.

Love this book I will be using nearly all patterns to make quilts for my granddaughters
