You think you are purchasing an item. Actually, you are entering into a long-term relationship with an eager suitor who has a keen purpose and a poor memory. Nice people, maybe, when they go home. In business, however, they do not heed responses or respect boundaries, and they don't know how to stop.What seems pushy in one culture is normal in another. This may be nothing more than cross-cultural difference set in a correspondence that does not end. If you're linking a bowl with a peaceful practice, then be advised that this one comes with static, friends, and sales pitches.The bowl does ring sweetly, whether or not it sings.If you aren't looking for a singing bowl, but you do want a long-term relationship, then buy here. Whether or not you keep the bowl, the seller will keep a commitment to fervent correspondence. You may not have a bowl, but you won't feel ignored, unwanted, or isolated ever again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Singing Bowl. It's unique in that it comes with a stuffed pillow to place it on. Not a lot of the others had this available. The striker is carved, made of wood and is gracefully curved to allow the hand to easily hold it.The bowl itself is just over 3 inches at the mouth. The pleasing tone was more noticeable for the first 5 seconds then slowly faded. It lasted in total for about 12 seconds.The pictures really don't do it justice. It's a soft gold color of metal that sits on a black pillow with gold trim. It's light and can be transported anywhere. If you want to take it with you, it'll fit in a purse or suitcase with ease. Or just save the small box that it came with and reuse it. It was very well packaged with a fitted non-styrofoam material that will keep it's form for quite a while.It came with instructions on how to use the Singing Bowl, a website for free download of meditation songs, and place where you can leave questions or feedback.All in all, it is a quality Singing Bowl. My opinion is that it is an exceptional quality, especially for the price! I have to give this 5 stars.

Great product for the price. I also like that there aren't any designs on this bowl, just nice and clean. The sound is on the higher pitch side since this is a small bowl but it takes a little skill/effort/practice to get it high enough to hurt so I don't think that's an issue. Still great, clear sound, very relaxing. Perfect for someone beginning their meditation journey and small enough to pack for travel. The hammer that came with it was obviously used before and repackaged to me because the gloss coat on the wood had been chipped/damaged. The wood itself was fine though, I am not going to return a great bowl just because the gloss on the hammer came off but if that's a concern for you, maybe don't buy. The pad it comes with to sit the bowl on is nice, you're not getting perfection for this price, just something that works very well for exactly what you need. I love it.

This was my first singing bowl. I really like it. The bowl is beautiful and has a nice weight to it. The pillow is a little smaller than shown, and it's hard to keep the bowl balanced on it (you do need it to make it sing, I held it in my palm and the sound was much more dull). I was really excited when I did get it to sing but really have to focus on it not sliding off the pillow so it's hard to use it as a meditative tool for myself. The freebie music is really nice and the sellers website is really cool. They seem like really neat people. They do have an autobot that asks for feedback at least three times, which is annoying (I usually don't provide feed back when I'm pestered to do it - but I do like the bowl and I think the sellers are well intentioned).

I bought this singing bowl to use in a yoga class I am teaching with teenagers. The bowl is small and hand-held, which is actually perfect for toting around, but the sound is clear and big! It fills the whole gym and sounds gorgeous. The students love it. The bowl is beautiful and VERY well-made. The cushion and mallet are also stunning!I was so happy with my bowl and then, somehow in the midst of a high school, it must have gotten dinged and it stopped ringing. I was heartbroken and contacted Resonance Imports to see if they had any suggestions for how to fix it. Their response was instantaneous and they were SO kind! They shipped me a new bowl free of charge within 2 days, and included a sweet note and a lovely mala bracelet as a little surprise! This is the most incredible customer service I have ever had, and I have my wonderful bowl back.This is an excellent product definitely worth buying, even for your own home for a peaceful sound.
