I Still Want It

This book was exactly what I needed to hear. There is something to be said about the disappointments in relationships that we just don't see coming. Why? Because we aren't prepared for them and lose sight of ourselves while encompassed in what we think is love and acceptance in such situations. Take heed my sisters out there: this book will bring your valid doubts to light.

Book had some good poems but I didn’t realize upon purchase it was geared towards my African American ladies, until a few pages in it had a self empowering poem and mentioned I was a beautiful black woman. Which is fine I embraced it! Haha It just caught me off guard. ❤️

I'm a grown woman. All excerpts in this read solidified my experiences as I navigated through "searching for love." I have an awesome husband however, it took going through painful experiences to know my worth.

If anyone knows about Derrick Jaxn, then they know that he brings nothing but straight up advice in regards to relationships. This book touches on a lot of things that women go through such as hurtful past relationships, insecurities and other bs. Good book!!

This book spoke to my soul. Sometimes we all need to hear that someone out there thinks and feels like we do. I would recommend this book to everyone. Love is a splendid thing. It’s nice to hear things from a man’s point of view.

I follow Derrick on IG and his words are so powerful and ring so true. I saw some excerpts for this book and I knew I had to order it so I could read it from start to finish. Eye opening. Honest. Emotional. I cried more than once.

Great book seen it on a ad on Facebook after reading the comments I decided to buy it great choice you will not be disappointed. There's something for both men and women.

Omg but and read for people of all ages and sexes. I was reading and it felt like he wrote poems to me!!! I love this book 😘

I seen this advertised so much I didn’t really read what it was and bought it on impulse for a holiday read on holiday thinking it was hot steamy and a book I wouldn’t be able to put down to find it was a poem book! So my mistake really but wasn’t too impressed

This has quickly become one of my favourite books. I would encourage anyone reading this to get a copy and enjoy :)
