Like most, I was concerned with ordering the proper size. I bought this jacket for my 5 year old son, who is about 50lbs and wears a size 6 in most clothes. It fit him great. Not too big, not too small - just loose enough to wear a sweater/fleece underneath for added warmth if needed. We were so excited to hunt for bugs on his jacket, and were not disappointed! While the jacket was rather smelly (fishy odor) fresh out of the packaging, I washed it before he wore it, and that took care of the odor. I also ordered a pink one for my 4 year old daughter. Unfortunately, the smallest size was a 6, so it pretty much swallows her, but she doesn't care at all. Plus, I figure she'll just be able to enjoy it for a couple extra years. I like the mesh lining inside the jacket (lined all the way from the hood through the sleeves), the thumb holes in the sleeves, and especially the fleece lined pockets. I also like that there is a little bit of reflective writing on both the front and the back (the "therm *" logo). It is a very nice quality jacket. Most highly recommended!

My daughter LOVES her new rain coat! When we opened the package, I noticed right away that this jacket is made of very high quality materials. I splashed some water on the sleeve to show my daughter the special secret design. She was so excited! She also loves the "thumb pockets" as she calls them (holes for the thumbs to keep sleeves in place). I bought her a size or two larger on purpose so she can wear this longer. I love that it's light enough for summer rain, but can easily accommodate several layers for winter rain. This product wins both mom and child's votes!!

I bought this for my son. He wears a 6 but I bought 8 so he can wear it in winter with all his cold clothes. He loves the pattern that disappears. Its waterproof and my child hasn't destroyed it. Its worth the money if you want something that's quality.

Love this coat! This is an excellent kids coat. It is actually waterproof unlike so many water resistant ones. My son goes to a indoor outdoor school and they must leave boots and coats at school. The teachers love it too. He loves the bugs of course. Will buy in other sizes when needed.

Mesh liner helps avoid the clammy feeling of most raincoats. Our grandson LOVES the bugs that appear when the coat gets wet! If they love it, they wear it!

I wanted a lightweight but durable jacket foe my son. This was my best pick. He is size 10 so I got the biggest size they had which was a 12 or 13. I thought I would regemret getting too bug but he loves how roomy it is and now it will last him a few years. Still have not seen the bugs yet though, when it rains hard enough I am sure we will though.

Surprisingly lightweight, quality raincoat with soft jersey lining. Flexible outer shell that allows movement. My 7 yr old loves the bug pattern that appears when the coat gets wet and doesn’t complain about wearing it as he does most coats. Worth the price.
