Great Taste and Texture – A Favorite for Vitamin C Supplementation
These Country Life Berry Flavored Acerola wafers are by far my favorite. They have a fruity-citrus flavor that is really quite enjoyable—with just the right amount of sweet and a pleasantly sour component. They’re not chalky at all, which is a huge plus for me. The texture is smooth and easy to chew and they dissolve well, making them feel more like a treat than a supplement. I also appreciate that they come with a solid 500 mg dose of vitamin C per wafer. I take one to two daily for immune support and to help me absorb VitD. Bonus points for the clean ingredients and the large GLASS bottle with 90 wafers, its a great value. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, chewable vitamin C that’s actually enjoyable to eat!

seem to be helping me fight off a cold
I don't like vitamin C lozenges. Too many of them are sugary and leave my teeth coated and leave their flavors lingering in my mouth. But, I am definitely a believer in taking vitamin C when I am coming down with something. And I am definitely coming down with something right now -- I have that congestion and sore throat that signal the onset of a cold (even though it is the middle of August!). Anyway, I started taking these a day or two ago and I really feel that they are helping. (So are rest, hot tea, and getting plenty of fluid.) My sore throat pain is less, without painkillers, and although I have a little sinus drainage, it seems to be decreasing. I now have legitimate hopes that this bug will not move down into my chest. I can't say that these wafers are the *only* thing responsible for that, but I do believe they are effective as part of a combination strategy. These have quite a lot of vitamin C (833%, which is based on a 2000 calorie diet -- I eat less than 2000 calories per day for sure, as I am counting calories this year, so it is a higher percentage for me). Although vitamin C is water soluble and excess gets excreted, I am probably only going to take these when I am feeling sick. I also like the presence of bioflavonoids from citrus and other plant extracts, and the fact that each tablet is low in sodium and has only 10 calories. Plus, these are vegetarian (and kosher). Flavor wise, these are quite tart, as you might expect. I am mostly getting a citrus flavor, specifically lemon, but it is a complex flavor with other hints of fruit as well. I did not find it particularly hard to take and actually enjoyed the flavor somewhat. But if you are not a fan of tart things, you may not like these. (Though there are some sugars as well, which probably help mediate the tartness.) Anyway, this is a nice non-lozenge source of vitamin C that seems to be working to help me stave off (or at least reduce the severity of) a respiratory virus, and that is what I wanted, so I am happy. (For what it's worth, you can see the full ingredients list and nutrition facts panel by zooming in on the product images.)

Delicious wafers!
These vitamin C wafers are my families absolutely favorite. They are not too bitter and have a really good flavor! My twin teens love them and always have! They are the best way to stay healthy during cold and flu season!

Yummy, like a sweet tart candy
These acerola berry chewable c are nicely tart even though they have fructose in them. I buy these because they also have bioflavonoids included. The 180 size is a good price, but I found that the smaller bottle is glass while the larger bottle is plastic. I actually prefer glass, but I generally buy the big bottle for the better price.

Tart and I love them!
I needed these bc I have MTHFR gene - I was told this was easily digestible compared to other brands. It's very tart - some may like that and some may not. I personally do. One of my kids love it the other doesn't but it's personal taste. I happen to love the tartness and will be buying again

Great Flavor!
These Vitamin C with Acerola are a great value for the money and taste really good; they're a little tart of course but the berry flavor is really good. The ingredients are great quality so I feel good about taking them as an extra Vitamin C supplement in my diet.
