ACDelco GM Original Equipment 10-4003 Limited Slip Axle Lubricant Additive - 4 oz

GM stopped making and stocking everything for this car. It's extinct. Parts are sparse. But gratefully this little bottle of magic still exists, and is affordable! Change your rear diff fluid every 18-24 months or every 15-25k miles if you own an 04-06 GTO. The LSDs are a metal on metal "cone type" design, so the amount and quality of FM you use is critical, as is flushing the fluid frequently to excrete metal slush in the diff housing. A quality 75W-140 gear oil works very well. Start with 2oz of the modifier, then ~1.5-1.8qts of the gear oil. Drive the car around for a while and listen to how the rear end sounds when turning and performing slow-speed maneuvers in parking lots. Add 0.5-1oz at a time to tune the diff. Put this in my 2021 GMC Yukon Denali rear driveline oil when I changed it out and it took away the low moaning noise we had while turning! It is a must for 2021-2025 Yukon's and Tahoe's in rear driveline oil.

Used this with GM original rear end fluid to resolve the rubbing noise we were getting with our 2021 suburban. The dealership couldn't figure out the issue but luckily came across a youtube video that listed this additive as something that would fix it.

It is what it is. And its what GM says your supposed to use. so...Warranty satisfied. Gm's happy, im happy. I saved $300 doing the transfer and differential fluids myself. In my driveway with simple hand tools. And it only took 1-1/2 hrs. WARNING TO ALL! Make sure you can access the FILL PORT BEFORE you drain your fluids! Make sure you can fill what you just drained!!!! Or you are stuck. Best luck to you all. Check that fill port!

トヨタ、６０ノア ダイハツ、アトレー７ の４ATに使用したところ、変速ショックがほぼ無くなりました。 今のところ副作用はないですね。 トルセンLSDの、ようなギアの組合せ機構で効果があるなら、変速AT(4速)でも、通用すると 睨んでの使用。 まぁ、用語、構造が解らん人は試さないでくれ。 責任持てんのにゃ。

レクサスISFのトルセンLSDに入れました。 入れた理由ですが、ディーラーで純正デフオイルを入れてから、少しゴリゴリ感が有ったからです。 また、デフオイル交換の練習として、自分で作業してみました。 少し上からオイルを抜いてから、この添加剤を注入し、抜き過ぎたオイルをもう一度戻す形で作業しました。 入れた際、デフオイルの量約2Lに対して、こんな118mlじゃ効かないだろうと、半分以上諦めていましたが、直ぐに走行してみると、走り出しのみ少しゴリってなりましたが、直ぐに治まりました。 その後は滑らかそのものです。 見た目も粘度も純正デフオイルとほとんど変わらないのですが、とても驚きました。 これを入れて大成功です。
