Vintage:2018 Possibly Berton Vineyards most popular wine. Full of spicy, yet soft blackcurrant fruit and still holding it's own at 14% alcohol, the wine is actually very approachable. The winemakers source the darkest and most flavoursome Shiraz grapes from premium areas across South Eastern Australia and make a wine that balances fruit and alcohol, but also looks great and is a reasonable price. Strong, purple black and intense (hence the name) yet surprisingly soft and easy drinking for such a high alcohol wine - just how Aussie Shiraz should be!
