Great for reading, for off grid at grampa's cabin, for my backpack because it's bright enough & lasts, is super flexible, verrrry lightweight. Sometimes as a nightlight on low setting, when there's new moon & Dark in the mountains. Have bought 4 total because we're quite happy with these. I've ordered other solar lights for cabin and the camper, these are the only ones we have liked. Long burn, Lightweight, Bright to read or walk trail.

I needed a book light for reading in bed when there aren’t bedside lamps, and this one is perfect! It stays put without being too heavy on my book and shines light on both pages simultaneously. I can clip it on towards the back of the book and not worry about moving it to be able to turn pages as I read. Very responsive customer service when I had a question about charging without a wall plug. The booklight comes with its own charging cable; I bought a USB wall plug (see my photo). I love that the book light has a solar charging option, though I haven’t yet had a chance to try it out - plan to give it a try when I’m spending more time outdoors this spring.

This is a great little book light. It has two brightness settings, which are brighter than you'd expect from a little light. It can conveniently be charged via an outlet/USB OR by solar, which is pretty neat for camping use! The neck is ultra bendable and can be put in so many different positions. I'm giving it four stars because I haven't had the opportunity to test the solar panel yet since the charge via the power source lasts so long!

Good reader light. In the am put it in your window to recharge. Handy. I can read a whole page as its nicely lighted.

A great lightweight reading light that is ideal for travel and home use. The flexible neck makes it convenient to store in my bag. It's fairly thin so I can fit it in my purse compartment slots. Then I just re-shape it when I want to use it. I keep it handy in my bag for my daily commutes as my ride is over an hour long each way. The solar and rechargeable USB option is mainly why I picked it. Works well either way and I don't always have a plug nearby when using it. I keep it by my office window to charge. The whole light itself is smaller than a cell phone. The brightness setting is also what sets this light apart from others. I found myself needing different amounts of light depending on where I was/time of day. I would recommend this simply for that.

The light is bright but the neck (wand) is too short. The top half of the book is lit but the bottom is not. And the clip does not hold so the lamp moves or falls off the book very easily.

I was thinking that there should be something like this, why not? And what do you know, there is, and it works great! I have a little reading nook in a window and it charges there by day and I use it at night. Very happy.

As a voracious reader who regularly reads long into the night, I have to say that this is best little book light I've ever used. It's small but powerful, and the clip fits great on the back of your book or on adjoining furniture. During the daytime I simply hang it by my window and it recharges. Here's my full review of all the features and nuances of this lamp:1. Size - let's start with the size. The lamp is light and small enough to clip to the back of a standard paperback-sized book. It's also light enough that I could imagine taking this lamp on my travels, and carry in my bag on a plane for reading.2. Light strength - it has a strong, cold light. The only improvement I could see here is that it would be nice if the light were warmer tone. Otherwise, the light is strong but also focused, minimizing the intrusiveness of reading next to other people in the dark. The lamp carries 3 settings: off, medium, and high, which can be adjusted via a tiny switch on the lamp's head.3. Flexibility - the neck of this lamp is very flexible, and you can bend it basically like a pipe-cleaner. The lamp can double as a flashlight/torch.Overall - I recommend this lamp for travel, reading, and as a general flashlight to use around the house.

When I ordered this, I thought it was much bigger than what it is. It’s remarkably small, so when I pulled it out of the package, I was nervous it would not meet my needs. I was so wrong, and there are so many uses I have found for this little light. It really is quite bright, offers different light volumes, which is handy if you’re trying not to wake someone up, and I am super glad we got it. And I love that it’s charged by solar power.

It is light weight, the battery lasts long, and charges under the sun. It is easy to carry around and a must have on long haul flights if you like to have a good read.
