super easy to install. brightens room

These things are bright and provide even light across multiple cans, and a breeze to install. You simple remove the old lights, then connect the power clip, compress and insert the mounting arms, and voila you are done. Took more time to move the ladder around than to do the actually fiddly bit with the lights. Perfect!

I was using these to replace 12 year old fixtures I had in my kitchen. I had recently replaced the standard on/off switches with dimmers so I could adjust the lighting given different needs. I originally thought I would just replace the old bulbs with updated LED ones. I went with Hyperkon BR30 LED bulbs and they flickered on anything but full power so I returned them.I have 8, 6 inch cans in my kitchen so this package worked perfectly for me The time consuming part for me was figuring out how to remove the old fixtures and then how the spring loaded clips worked on the new Bioluz fixture. I am pretty handy, but I am not a professional electrician. The instructions and graphics regarding how these clips worked were very sketchy. Perhaps a professional electrician would have known how these clips worked, but I did not. I think most people intend to install these themselves, and they can as I did, but they did not make it as simple as I think it could have been with adequate instructions.The Bioluz fixture comes with 2 "clips" per fixture. Each amounts to a stout wire with a U bend in each end. See the picture attached. The slight bend in the wire in the picture is from me trying to get it to go into the existing can for quite a while. Each wire clip is approximately 8 inches long with a 2 coil loop in the center similar to that in a rat trap spring. As it turns out, you have to bend each of the U bend wires end to end and then have both U bend ends fit in between the 1 inch openings in a clip in the old can that resembles a small metal "C". Once you have each end of all 4 ends of the springs inside the opening of the "C" on both sides, you then push the new fixture up to get it to secure. It is not easy, especially working over your head. The springs kept popping off of the plastic clip that held them in place just as I thought they were in. Very frustration. That is why I am not giving these 5 stars.They work great now that they are installed, but that could have been soooo much easier with some instructions on the clips. They do not flicker at all from full on to low and I love that. They look really good too.

We bought our townhouse (built in 1979) 4 years ago and we finally have light in the corner of our master bathroom. We have bought many bulbs before that did not work in the socket, but after researching old style recessed can lights I decided to try this and it works! So excited! It was so easy to install and the light is so bright!

These lights were easy to install and work perfectly. They are a bit whiter and brighter than the incandescent lights I had in the kitchen so I was not sure what the effect would be. It took a little getting used to, but then I had people come in without telling them that I had made the change. They noticed it and liked it. With 6 lights I will be saving $13 a year for every hour per day I use them.Also, when Amazon messed up the order and sent me 7 instead of 8, quickly and without any hassles directly shipped me my 8th light from their facility.

So I bought this recently and maybe my opinion will change later.But after a week of use, it's been a much better grade quality LED than what I was replacing. My old light had a plastic fixture but this felt solid, metal. And this doesn't seem to flicker as much as my old light (even when the old fixture was new). Definite upgrade. The beveled area has many more smaller ridges than my old light ... but that's not the fault of the product obviously that it does not match my old product in appearance.If it keeps this up for a year, definitely a 5 star product. I'm buying another four for future replacement needs under that belief (so the fixtures start to match).

There's nothing to dislike about this light. So easy to put up. And I can see soooo much better.
