Battery Powered Brushed Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Mill | One Touch Automatic Battery Powered | Single Mill

The media could not be loaded.  It's pretty much exactly as advertised. Doesn't come with batteries or spices so once you've got this, 4 AA batteries and the non-ground spice of your choosing, you're good to go. Seems to grind up peppercorns well and even has a light at the bottom for whatever reason - I guess maybe so you can see where you're spreading your spices in the dark. In any case, it looks and feels pretty nice, although the instructions are written in pretty broken English.

I had purchased a pepper mill a while back, and when I needed a salt grinder, I chose this one thinking it was the same one I had previously ordered and loved. I use the Pink Himalayan Salt, and when my new mill arrived, I filled it with the Pink Salt. I was disappointed that the light was so dim, but thought maybe I really didn't need a light. The pepper mill I ordered has a very bright light. I got used to the annoyance of the light. Just the other day, the mill just stopped working. When I took it apart to see what was wrong, a piece of black plastic broke off. I think one of the salt crystals may have lodged in the grinding mechanism. I put it back together, and what do I do now? Can it be replaced, or am I just out of luck? I could not find my original pepper mill I ordered previously, and thought this one would do. Wrong!

Unfortunately the grind size is VERY inconsistent no matter what coarseness setting you choose. You can choose very fine and it will spit out big chunks.EDIT:I've found that as I've used it it has evened out some more in it's consistency and it helps to always keep the adjustment screw tight. Every few times you use it reach under there and retighten just a little.

Bought one for salt and one for pepper to lessen hand pain. Have been using daily since Feb. 16, 2016.Pros - Very good looking. Salt grinder works well enough.Cons - Pepper grinder does not produce much usable pepper in anything like a reasonable amount of time even when set on the coarsest grind. Grind adjuster works erratically. Top heavy, the slightest brush knocks it over.Today I received my OXO Good Grips Lewis Pepper Mill from Amazon. It works well in all respects, so I have retired the beautiful but inadequate battery powered pepper grinder.

Needs more power but do like the product for the table... not for cooking.

A bit of a pain to refill, but a great addition to the kitchen.

Disappointed in the power, not bad though.

My aged hands find pepper grinders difficult to use. This works perfectly. No difficulty or pain for my hand. I recommend this highly for anyone who needs help grinding pepper.
