Have had this litterbox for a few weeks now, and are loving it. The stainless steel is really easy to clean, and the urine doesn't 'burn' into it like it does with plastic litterboxes. Originally I thought the plastic cover might be an issue but so far my cat has been aiming well below it, if you have a cat that pees higher up then it might be an issue. The plastic cover clips on securely with solid clips that slide over the stainless steel, and overall the whole thing feels really sturdy and high quality. It's also considerably bigger than the average plastic litterbox you might find, and for my large Siberian Forest cat this is an absolute plus as it means he can use it more comfortably due to this extra space. Honestly, it is absolutely worth it to pay the heftier price for this litterbox rather than having to suffer through scrubbing and eventually replacing a plastic litterbox regularly. The steel had a scratch or two on it but I wasn't too concerned as it didn't affect it negatively, but also it was all quite well packaged

Very nice and big but none slippery things for under the tray is missing I already had one at home and bought one extra as i have 4 kittens.

It's great as its nice and big holds a lot and loads of room for cat but unfortunately it says it won't scratch and mine is scratched quite a bit after only owning for 3 months so a bit disappointing there but its lasted longer than any plastic one so bonus so far

Don’t think I’ll ever regret purchasing this. Great size for my larger cat. Due to the metal, it is so much easier to clean and keep hygienic.

I have a large cat who was refusing to use her plastic tray, no matter how much I cleaned it. I saw online that plastic will retain smell and can't be cleaned effectively. My cat loves this tray, and it smells much better than her previous tray. This is pricey, but so worth it.

This cat litter tray is perfect. Great high quality, easy to clean and looks really well.no need to hide the litter tray out of sight,u will be proud to have this tray seen its very classy. I ordered a second one as my cats love it. I think it is very good value as it should last a very long time. Don’t hesitate to buy this you won’t be disappointed it’s the best you can get.also great as far as hygiene is concerned with the stainless steel tray.if you like your cats to have the best you can give them then this is the tray for them.

Update: I also have 2 of these litter boxes that are now pitting at the bottom causing urine to leak out. The second litter box I received came with 2 black marks at the bottom of the pan, I didn’t really think anything of it and as time went on I realized they were tiny pits which have now become tiny holes. I read other reviews of people saying they contacted the company and were told it was their cleaner, or something that was the consumers fault but one of mine started out with black marks that grew to holes and my first litter box is now starting to do the same also. I never use any harsh cleaning supplies. (I use The Unscented Company products, amazing products) so it literally has nothing to do with what I used to clean them, also I use to line them before our new cat started ripping the liners out. Unfortunately I wrote a great review when I started out with these litter boxes. Now I’m looking for new boxes. Even though I hated plastic litter boxes, not once did they get tiny holes in the bottom. I’d still like to get a different brand of stainless steel box but not from this company. My original review, I had high hopes: This has been the easiest litter box to clean that I’ve owned. I have two. I also bought the litter scoop from the same brand and the frustrations I’ve had with other litter boxes is gone. I use Pioneer Pet SmartCat Unscented Clumping Grass Cat litter in them. I bought these boxes to replace the Cat Genie. The smell that the Cat Genie produced was discussing. There is zero smell with this new setup I have. I tried plastic litter boxes and they always held a smell. I’m not grossed out cleaning these Stainless steel boxes, it feels more hygienic to me. I’m using bag liners in them but I don’t really need to. I got the sides for the boxes and the sides are nice and high. One of my cats likes to pee close to the edge and the boxes are nice and big so she can turn around and do her thing. The sides have prevented accidents over the edge of the box. I know the price is high but for me it’s been well worth it. I wish I would have had stainless steel boxes all along, then I wouldn’t have wasted money on self cleaning litter boxes over the years, that at some point have to be cleaned and they are way worse to deal with.

it's not a stainless steel liter surface meaning there's some kind of layer from the inside it's stainless steel from the outside i mean it's still better than plastic options or any other but it turned out not as expected as in size it's really big and wide . hope it helps :)

I've owned cats for several years, and it never occurred to me to get a stainless steel litter pan. I'm so glad I finally did! It doesn't stain and hold onto the odours even after a wash, like a plastic one does. It's huge (fits my ragdoll boys in it easily) and deep enough that the litter doesn't tend to get kicked out the sides. Love it!
