Merckens Melting Wafers Milk Chocolate - 5 Pound Bulk Pack

Decent milk chocolate. I used it for making Christmas chocolate bars. It melted easily. Was nice and silky whilst pouring. It set amazingly. Good of the price. Would recommend.

These are high quality chocolate wafer. Do not have any Gritty taste. Melts really well. The only thing is I found them on another site for much much cheaper and they were exactly the same.

I had this chocolate delivered to Phoenix in the dead of summer and was hoping it wouldn’t arrive melted together. Like some of the other reviews stated, I was pleasantly surprised that they had the chocolate in an insulated package and had an ice pack in the box as well. No issues with melted/clumpy chocolate. The chocolate melts really well, is really easy to dip with, and is even good on its own. A good alternative to more expensive brands.

As a stress-reliever, I make homemade candies for family and friends as gifts. This is one of the best products that I've purchased for making candy. They don't immediately melt all over your fingers when you try to eat whatever confectionary treats you have made and they are delivered in well-packaged in thermal envelopes containing freezer packs, but if you live in Texas in August and the FedEx delivery-person leaves them out in the sunlight in the late-afternoon (despite the clear warnings on the package), they will probably be very melted when you receive them if you work evenings. My bad. The package went into the fridge where it will stay until the next time I decide to try to use it. The optimist in me hopes that the chocolate has been "environmentally tempered" and will be just fine.
