I'm a big fan of Skagen and Obaku watches because they are thin and I have small wrists. Many of those watches use watchbands which are held on by screws rather than the traditional spring-loaded pin. This makes finding replacement bands difficult, since the band must have just the right size and shape of flange to insert into the watch body far enough for the screws to penetrate but not leave any of the flange exposed so it looks bad.The problem with the Skagen bands which came with my watches is they basically wrap the leather around a thin metal plate with screw holes in it. Eventually the metal plate tears through the leather from the constant pulling on the watch band and there is no option but to replace the band.The great thing about these bands is they do indeed fit properly (they have the Skagen logo on them, so I assume they are made by Skagen), so I should just be happy I can get a band that fits.However I would also offer the following comments:These bands do not have the metal plate, so the screws in the watch body just screw through the leather as you tighten them. Whether this is more, or less, prone to failure than the bands with the metal plate remains to be seen.A lot of Skagen leather bands are very distinctive, with attractive textures and colors. While not unattractive, these replacement bands have minimal texture and rather generic colors. I had to settle for a band which was much lighter in color and smoother than my original (sort of cordovan, highly textured) band as these bands are basically limited to "tan" (very light), "dark tan" (light) and "brown (very dark).It still beats not being able to wear the watch!

I was trying to order straps for a Bering brand watch. Apparently they are very similar to Skagen watches. Installing the new straps was pretty easy. At first I imagined I would have to punch holes in the strap but, no. Just drive the screws right through the leather. Easy. I would have replaced the new Skagen buckle with the old Bering buckle because it had ‘Bering’ etched on it. But the old buckle was too wide by about a millimeter. So the Skagen strap narrows at the buckle a little more than the Bering strap. Nevertheless, the new straps look like they are made for the watch. It looks brand new now.

I had to replace the original white strap on my Skagen watch...finding this replacement was a happy day! Too bad that the buckle is silver while the watch face is gold...but no worries...it works! The biggest challenge was to replace the super itsy- bitsy screws into the holes. Solved that by using a strip of paper to hold them as I wielded the tiny screwdriver. My beautiful watch now looks brand new..thank you

tried going through the manufacturer terrible person couldn't find the band, so go to Amazon had it it in 2 days fits perfect

There description is deceptive. It attaches with screws but they are not included. Those little buggers can easily be lost during the strap replacement. Skagen wanted about $40.00 shipped for a new band so I guess this is OK. Time will tell about the quality. One of my favorite watches. Thin and comfortable. Just make sure it is kept in light to keep the battery charged when not in use.

This band is a lot like the original one I had, though in a different color and finish. My watch is rose gold, so I was able to switch the buckle easily. The band doesn't come with holes (or screws) so it is slightly challenging to install. Prompt service.

The watch band arrived and I was very happy with the quality of the leather, however there were supposed to be screw holes in the ends to fasten it to the watch. It was an easy fix with a push pin creating the holes and I was able to attach the band.

The product seems better than the original. it is excellent and looks beautiful.It does require a little work and patience to install but is well worth the effort!!!

Bought this Skagen watch in 2015 and after quite some wear needed to replace the strap. Originally bought watch with a black strap but this time I went for a white leather strap. Couldn’t be more pleased. My husband has some very tiny screw drivers so was able to change the strap and now I’m ready to go! Perfect strap and looks good on my wrist.

Had to buy a set of mini screwdrivers to fit it. But still saved a fair bit of cash. A good leather strap.

There were no pre-made holes in the strap when it arrived nor does it come with the necessary screws. However, if you have the screws already, then it's simply a case of inserting the two parts of the strap into the grooves of the watch, then screwing the screws into the strap.

I had to cut the edge of the band but still unable to fit the strap to the watch as it was too thick to go into its fitting.

Looks authentic, feels good but unlike the original no steel strips at fixation end so screws only through leather not leather and steel. Good so far however

This is terrible quality. I have had this watch band for 5 weeks and already the so-called 'leather' is peeling as you can see by the photo. What a waste of money!
