Over the years, I have cycled through many variations of my go-to cup. I am an iced tea drinker and carry my cup around with me all day, wherever I go, filled with either tea or water. I happened across this Bubba bottle in a sports store and thought I'd give it a try since it's stainless steel and I was trying to get away from plastic but didn't want the hassle of glass. This cup is AWESOME! I love that the straw "closes" for sealability, and that it has a loop to hook your finger through or use to attach something. I use a carabiner and clip my key and gym tag to it while I'm working out. It truly functions thermally as well. The ice in my iced tea takes almost all day to melt. I now have several of them and it is my all-time favorite bottle.

If you are someone who wants your beverage ice cold 'all the time' this is the bottle for you. No kidding, this Bubba will keep ice in our drink ALL day and / or ALL night. I have purchased them for gifts and just bought another one for me. This one is the best of them all. Honestly, not all of them hold the chill the same. This one is the beast!!! I take it on island vacations and it keeps my drinks cold in the burning heat all day. It is nothing short of amazing. No more having to drink my drinks extra fast so I don't have to drink bath water!!! This will not dissappoint.

Okay I love this bottle so far! No taste if you drink through straw (and don't put mouth on metal rim), comes with 2 straws (something I always appreciate). It's also dish-washable which is always a huge plus. If you put room temperature water in and leave it in your hot car all day...it will warm up slightly but stay pretty room temperature. If you put ice in at the beginning of the day, you'll still have ice floating around in your bottle at the end of the day, even if you leave it in your hot car like I do.3 complaints which is the reason I can't quite give it 5 stars...1 - The paint chips/scrapes very easily! I don't know how any of the scratches on the bottle got there... It isn't bad, it just looks scratched, the paint isn't falling off, but for the price I'd expect more.2 - The straw opens VERY easily...I like that (it's part of the handle) ...but you can also bump it open ...which is annoying.3 - It occasionally spits water at you...not a lot...but it definitely will spritz you once in a while through the straw opening. I don't mind that much since I really bought this for the size and keeping water cold, but it's not a plus.Side note, the mouth part of the straw is very hard plastic...and rather large. If you think that's going to bother you, try a different bottle. I got used to it very quickly and don't mind it at all.

I love ice, summer or winter. I have left ice water in it over night without the top on and still have ice in the morning. I can take sodas in the car on all day errands, the soda does not water down or go flat, there is ice at the end of the day. The cup works best if a cold drink is added first and ice last. If the drink is warm to start, it will no cool down enough. Excellent product; I now own 3.

I thought I was getting the best made, as far as a cold beverage container for the $17.00. WRONG! It keeps the contents cold and tasting good for a long time, provided you do not tip it on its side or (horror!) shake it up. That is because the (closed) top LEAKS like a soda can. So as long as you keep it upright and keep the contents in the bottle, it will serve the purpose. However, I expected better. So don't get too "sporty" or too "active" with this bottle.

Bought this bottle as a gift to replace one that accidentally got run over by our car thanks to our 17 month old. These bottles are amazing! We live in Texas, and they are so air tight that you can put ice water in on a Monday, and there will still be ice Wednesday morning, during a Texas summer that is more than impressive! This bottle is impressively durable, had my Range Rover not run over the lid, I would consider it near indestructable.

I have used the Bubba Hero sports bottles for years. This one has a different straw than all the rest I've owned. The old straw was a soft, flexible material. This straw is rock hard. I'm going to throw it away because I'm afraid I will damage my teeth. I've already hit my mouth too hard while trying to take a sip. Yes--this water bottle keeps your water cold. But it's a dentist appointment waiting to happen for a chipped tooth.Horrible.

I have used Bubba brand "hero"bottles for years. I hate that they did a way with the soft silicone straw wrap and I've now had 3 where the loop handle broke off. Quality seems to be going downhill as they also sweat now and don't keep my ice cold drink that way all day like they used to.
