BOWERY HILLSteel Gray Linen Reversible/Sectional Sleeper Sofa with Storage for Small Space

So, we had never bought a couch before but are very happy with this purchase. We wanted a couch with a chaise seat, and loved that it had storage underneath and pulls out to be a guest bed if need be. We sit on this couch almost every night to watch TV and it's fine for that. It's on the stiffer end which we like, but supportive. We've had one or two guests sleep on it-- and they've said it isn't the most comfortable thing they've slept on, but for one night, it'll do! (We usually put extra blankets underneath a sheet so there's a little more cushion for a person's back).It originally arrived in 3 boxes and was mostly self explanatory to put together. The only difficult part is how you attach the sides together with the interlocking pieces that slide into one another are sort of hard to get all 3 pieces to align in one movement. My husband and I had trouble with this at original set up, and once again when we moved, but once it's in (or at least 2 of the 3 pieces are interlocking) it's pretty stable.We recently moved and it was easy to get from one home to the new home! We've had it for a little over a year now and it's still holding up well. Even to the cat scratches (if you can see them in the picture).The only thing I dislike about this couch is the fabric. It's not necessarily bad, and not quite itchy, but it's not as soft/comfy as I'd like, so I was putting sheets on the couch itself to make it feel softer (and in case of spills) but recently purchased cushion covers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088H8P8SN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) and crib mattress covers for the seat cushions since the chase makes it hard to buy a whole couch cover.(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075F79YZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).Overall, pretty impressive for a $600 couch from Amazon that we'd never sat on/used before purchasing!

I like this couch a lot it fits perfect in my junior studio and I love the duality and being able to pull out the bottom part, it was the reason I bought it. The couch took awhile to ship and was coming from Canada, I bought it on 7/31 and it didn’t arrive to NYC until 8/10. The boxes are heavy and assembling was easy but sliding the pieces of the couch together was a bit difficult. The only issue I see with my purchase and not necessarily the couch is that my cats really want to sink their claws into it and the couch is not forgiving of that. As soon as they do that it rips and i’ve had couches in the past that have been able to withstand the clawing a bit better. I’ve been keeping it covered when i’m not around and trying to train my cats to stay away. OVERALL, great couch for the cost, decent quality. It’s very firm though!

Came in very fast and was extremely easy to put together, I just needed a bit of assistance lifting the heavier pieces to lock them together. It was definitely an under an hour put together! It fits perfectly in the space, the L can flip around to any direction, and my dog is a heavy drooler which had me worried about it leaving marks on a fabric couch but this one is drool safe!

Perfect size for what I needed! Very easy to assemble and even my kid nephew can pull out the couch and put it back effortlessly. The color doesn’t show cat hair and it’s big enough to fit 3 or 4 people comfortably.It’s very firm at first but softens up with use but not too much. My couch has seen regular use for about a month and it’s still mostly like new.I am docking off 2 stars though. The pull out part looks sloppily pre-assembled with its mechanism and was one of the only pre-assembled parts. The screws aren’t flush to the framework and stick out at an angle, one of the screws keeps popping out entirely. The whole mechanism is shifted to one side to the point where one push at one of the corners of the pull out section from the middle of the couch will cause the whole thing to pop out of place and roll away. I had to place some cardboard to compensate for where the wheel was slipping out of the stopper but I can’t do anything about the screws without weakening the framework.Great couch overall, pull-out section feels like a sloppy rush job.

This couch looks amazing! And is incredibly easy to assemble. You can move it around whatever way you want in minutes like legos. But.. it’s got small butt cushions. When you sit on it the back rest lean forward so you feel like your sitting on the edge of a seat. If you pull the bed out it’s much more comfortable to sit in. Not comfortable to sleep in.. it’s for kids and we would use tons of blankets to make it comfortable for sleeping. Also I’ve herd some strange noises when getting off of it.. like cracks.. everyone knows that sound. I’m 140lbs.. take it whatever way you want. Lastly it looks great! It sits in an office and totally works as a decoration for zoom calls!

I had seen both good and bad reviews of this, but I will say this: Others are saying the couch is small (it is), and that it's hard (it is), both of which I actually wanted for my small space. However, the caveat is that the other reviews had praised its construction quality. I know that I assembled the couch correctly; I followed the instructions and there were no missing pieces. However, the part of the couch that flips out is permanently broken. I have only pulled it out from couch to bed about 10 times so I know it should be able to withstand this! I bought this couch on August 20th, 2021 and it is already broken (Sept 9, 2021). I am very disappointed in the construction of the hinge that allows the "couch-to-bed" part to pull out.

Pretty much the same review as everyone else. It’s perfect for a small space. Cushions are a bit stiff and seat depth is small. Easy to assemble with the exception of the one back piece. I had to get assistance to force that in. The storage space is amazing and it’s super easy to pull out to extend the sitting space. Love the color and am overall happy with the purchase!

I haven’t had this product long enough to give a thorough review as far as durability, comfort, and value for its money are concern. WRT 1. assembly … it was rather simple and straight forward, 2. order, shipment, and seller of product … there were no issues. Satisfied with it so far.

Le rembourrage est assez dur… ce n’est pas moelleux du tout… Mais pour un petit espace c’est assez bien !
