First a little about me, I am an armature nail artist. I do acrylics on myself about once a month.I ordered this first back in April and got it later than expected. I set it up and went to use it like a kid in a candy store. After my 8th natural nail it no longer functioned correctly. I could not control the speed. I unplugged and replugged it many times even shook it a few times. It still would not respond. I then contacted the seller and asked for a replacement.After almost 2.5 weeks and many, many emails back and forth to the seller I got my replacement.Ive used drill #2 many times in the following months to do about 3 sets of acrylics without a single problem. Then this morning (June 8th) I go to grind off some glitter nail polish from my toes and the same speed control problem happened again....Needless to say I am displeased. I was able to call in a favor from a friend who is good at fixing things and get it working. (For the mean time anyway.)If I were to do it over again I would not have purchased this drill. My advise to you is to keep looking.

ATTENTION TO ALL OWNERS OR INTERESTED CONSUMERS!!! Everyone is writing these reviews about the motor not working and such is true. My wife bought this about a month a ago and when she received it she opened it immediately. It did not work. We tried everything, still nothing. She looked into returning it, but we would have to pay S&H which is about $10 and the company would keep 20%. So in the end you spend more to get crap back. This whole thing started to sound like a scam to me. Reading the reviews just made it more concrete to me. So I took it upon myself to open the thing up and take a look inside. ***Not sure if it is like this in everyone's motor*** but my wife's motor cord (the only blue one inside) was not hooked up into the switch board. I plugged it in and it's been working fine now (no smoke or everything...yet). I tell anyone that has one just lying around not in use and not returning because it is a waste of time and money, to do the same. Open it up and plug the cords in.

I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years now. Most of the time the techs put the acrylic on too thick or curve it downwards making me look like I have "claws". Once I get them done, I will take a few minutes at home and file off the excess and shape them the way I want. No disrespect intended, but the techs tend to do the nails the way they think will look good on your hands, not necessarily what the customer wants. This drill/file lets me reshape the way I want. Multiple speeds and bi-directional head means I can file both left/right handed. Works better than hand filing, or a battery operated file. Optional foot petal works great too. Wish I had purchased this sooner.

This is a horrible drill. Not good steady power. And it you even bumb the drill part at all, it knocks something inside and will not turn. The motor will work but not the drill. Don't waste time or money!

I trusted in this product it doesn't come complete no instruction nothing! I tried to return this item I have to pay s&h which I paid for and they don't return your money they keep 20% it's bad really bad I still have it in it's original box. I have no use for it but I wouldn't give it or re-sale it to somebody else it's wrong and unethical.

excellent product have had no problems with it love it have owned it for 2 years no problems what so ever.

i am so piss off. the product is from china. no work. don't buy cheap stuff from china. i hate it. this is my lesson. buy good stuff. and save for the long run. i don't even contact the seller. DO NOT BUY IT

Got it for my girlfriend and she loves it. She says it works great and makes her life easier now. Not to mention it will end up saving me money in the future.
