I get brand-name wheels, tires, and hubs all pre-assembled and ready to mount out of the box.I especially appreciate the 4-in-1 Novatec hub design, which offers flexibility and future-proofing as I move on from one bike to another.My 2020 Schwinn Al Comp MTB came with so-so 27.5" tires and hubs that didn't rotate smoothly. Plus, the factory wheelset was very heavy - 5.3 lbs. for the front wheel and 7.1 lbs. for the rear wheel. After switching out my factory wheels for these ones, I immediately felt a difference in smoothness and lightness, most acutely when climbing hills and slopes.The tires offer great grip on dirt tracks, and even on smooth paved roads, the tires were quiet and rolled smoothly.Out of the box, the wheels were set up for a QR bike, which was perfect for my scenario.In order to install my 9-spd Shimano Alivio cassette, I used the provided spacer and everything worked out perfectly.At $249.00 (as of 2021-05-02), the value is great for all you get and I can comfortably recommend this to friends and family. Used these on my 2020 L&S Products/ Boss Racing 29er. Not the strength of a solid axle and is not convertible.Fabricated small”Cams” to act as wheel tensioner as after the rear wheel kept slipping. Front disc will not work for me- wrong spacing. At least I’m up and running ! The wheel/ tire combo was a good value.

Like the rims and the hubs. Was easy to mount with a 10 speed shimano setup.Liked the options for the rear axel, allowed me to upgrade from quick release to 12x142.Using different tires on these rims though. The original tires seem ok for road use, but are not tubeless ready. Wasted a lot of stans notubes tire sealant on these, and they still don't hold pressure for very long (few days).The rims are easy to maintain. The freehub comes of very easy making it quick to clean and re-apply lubricant.Note that the freehub is not very loud. I actually like it as some of these newer bikes are just too loud in my opinion. This is a nice compromise as they are slighly more audible then my old Giant SXC2 wheels.The rims are still straight after >1000 miles of riding, most on single track trails.Would buy again, but switching to 110mm front fork. And these wheels have no adapter kit for that.

comes with everything you need to swap between Quick Release for frames with dropouts and back to the thru axel -- Thru axel is where frames are heading in future bikes and make it so you may eventually upgrade your frame and have a set of nice wheels to get started or as a backup if buying a new bike with the wheelset. I prefer starting from the frame and put all my own component choices. Buying another set for 29er!

The wheel set is nice. the adapters are a huge plus. everything you need.Tires however dont feel solid enough for trails/downhill. Ok for general riding.

For the price, this is a great deal. The vendor answered my question rather quickly, as I intended to convert to tubeless and could not use the tires that came on the wheels. Nonetheless, the wheelset had no major truing issues out of the box. They did not wobble, but I did check the spoke tension and dishing. Overall, the spoke tension was a little out of WTB specs. The spoke nipples were tight and needed lubricant for adjustments.After attempts to achieve perfect tension, I wound up rounding about five stock nipples and had effectively created my own set of new problems. After a $90 fix by a local bike shop, I learned my lesson: at this low price, customers probably need to accept imperfect specs even after professional adjustments using tensiometers and truing stands. As long as customer expectations are appropriate, the wheelset is a great value for the money.
