Amazing, 1st night I slept and woke up with feet not burning! The Best! Thanks 1000 times over!!
I bought these on the advice of a wound care Dr. He had to clean out a bad wound on my foot and suggested I get these to sleep in. I have neuropathy in this foot and have for 17 years. Had a bad back surgery in 2001 and have suffered pain from my butt, down my leg, then foot. Nothing has worked. A podiatrist did recommmend New Balance tennis shoes w/ their inserts and this did help with my feet. Problem is since I some how got a hemotoma on my foot, that got infected and now could have MRSA, and not sure but something has effected the bone in my foot. Have been in so much pain and can't believe that not 1 Dr. except the wound care Dr. recommend I buy these for my feet, or foot. Woke up for the 1st time this morning without the nerve pain in my right foot and the burning in my feet. I ordered this pair because I saw in the reviews that another person had neuropathy in feet. Amazing, that I find more info. on Amazon, than I've ever received from Dr.s. Had no idea why I was buying these except I finally had a wound on my heel that was keeping me off my feet and thought this would make sleeping more comfortable. I was having to sleep with my leg pulled up, knee extending out so my ankle would be flat on my bed, to keep my heel from laying on bed. What I have here is a miracle that I pray I get again tonight. Thanks to all the folks that do reviews, and to Amazon. In 17 years I never found info. to help me out on any site. Going to keep searching, I could not take Lyrica due to side effects, so once again thank you so much!

Saved the day for air travels - the extra padding added protection and comfort for a sprained ankle
These completely "SAVED" our vacation!!! I have traveled with a wheelchair for over 35 years, but I'm usually able to get out and move around some with a cane. Right before leaving for vacation, I sprained my already compromised ankle. I know from experience that even in a wheelchair, it's easy to "bump" the sore ankle and also distracted strangers sometimes bump right into me. I was desperate for some sort of cushion to add a little extra protection and comfort. I remembered using these when I worked with elders years ago and I ordered hoping these would arrive in time for our travels. With 2 day shipping - right on time! Honestly, these just completely saved me and added so much to my comfort for travel. You know how cramped coach plane seating can be. The flight was torture, but luckily, I strapped on the lambswool fleece since I couldn't get a shoe on my swollen foot/ankle and this protected the area and added comfort. Fit perfectly even with my swollen ankle. I wear an ankle brace daily, but right now with the extra swelling - I can't get that on - and the lambswool fleece padding went a long way for me to feel like my ankle had a little protection. These stood up to travel. I found the product to be well made and sturdy. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a little added comfort and protection. I was concerned that it might "velcro" in the wrong spot and hurt - but no worries, these fit fine and I was able to loosely put it on the affected area.

Great little product
My wife, confined to a bed, a recliner, or a transport chair, began complaining about the back of her heel aching during a 9-week hospital and rehab center stay. The nurses there had a cone wrap to keep her heel from contact with the mattress, telling me that weight of the foot had thinned the muscle and fat cushion on the back of her heel, exposing the nerves of her heel to pressure causing the pain. The cone wrap seemed to help alleviate the problem. At home, without the wrap, my wife's discomfort returned and was sometime intense. Salves and massage and homemade heel lifts gave little relief. Since receiving the fleece padded heel and using them nightly (about a month), she has had only one night when she said that her heel hurt. I think this is a great little product to treat a significant bothersome pain.My wife moves her legs quite a lot during her sleep, flexing her knees and sliding her feet on the sheet. That does result in the padded heel cover sliding off of her heel and up her leg. I find it around her ankle or lower calf every morning. Tightening the Velcro-type strap doesn't keep it in place, but it seems to be stay where it is needed when it is needed, because the complaint of heel pain is virtually gone.

Working great to help prevent heel calluses
I use a wedge under my knees while I sleep to help my back, and my heels have gotten callused from the angle on the bed every night. It had become painful to use the wedge because of the heel calluses. In addition to using an electric callus remover and moisturizer, I bought these heel protectors. I'm very happy with them. They are easy to put on, they are very comfortable, and they have stopped the pain and formation of new calluses. I've been using them nightly for about three weeks. The only downside is if you move around a lot at night you may have trouble with them falling off. I am very still at night (using the wedge and I have a cat that sleeps on me), so they stay on pretty well.
