Libretto Trumpet Mute Silencer, AC011-7, Practice Mute, All Aluminum, Excellent for Practice Purpose

More than I wanted to pay, but it works really well. The sound dampening is significantly better than a cheaper plastic mute, and it fits inside a CarolBrass mini trumpet.

This product is precisely as defined in the product description. I am able to practice in my basement at 5:00 AM and it does not disturb my family in the rest of the house.

Well built and easy to insert into the bell of the trumpet (It just stay there, without falling).It is easier to blow than other mutes I have.It does not change the pitch, as far as I know and hear.Con: It is not as silent as other mutes I have,but I love it :-)

I got this because I lost my Best Brass one and thought it might be a less expensive replacement. It’s not. The intonation is terrible in the upper register. It’s small, it fits nicely in your bell, and it reduces volume nicely, but pitch is terrible.

I got my item very quickly. The only thing with it is that it often falls out of my trumpet. It's gotten bruised a couple times. The sound is great when it is used.
