No predator attacks
We are trying to protect our chickens from hawks and vultures. The net has only been up for a few months so I cant comment on it’s long term durability. I figure that if I had to replace it every year or two it’s just the cost of keeping the birds safe. If I lose one bird which is surely worth $30 because of the feed and effort that went into it then the net is worth it.The only downside to the net is it’s a real pita if you are working with it in an area with sticks or pine needles pine cones branches etc. It gets snagged on EVERYTHING. It’s not the fault of the net but it is something you may have to deal with. If you have several people available you may be able to hold it off the ground.I have a 4’ high wire fence with 8’ tall T posts so there are two feet of T post in the ground and two feet of T post above the fence wire. As we stretched it out we just hooked it on the T posts and let it drape down to the fence wire. Its not 100% sealed up and impenetrable but we have had zero predator problems. I understand that hawks swoop down and break the birds neck so even having part of your area covered may make that difficult for them. Our rooster will alert when he sees predators and the birds run for the coop. Having the net and some tin roof or plywood set up off the ground will also give them something to take cover under.Another interesting thing that i read is that hawks and crows are enemies so having some black chickens such as black australop may help keep the hawks awayWhen you get the net you may look at it and think what a MESS. Don’t panic, just lay it out and gently start unfolding it. Slow and easy. Slow and easy

Ask someone for help!
Using this as a roof for a duck run, works great. There's a few spots where the netting has torn from catching on doors, but no problems other than that. Also PLEASE do not try to put this up by yourself, you'll get frustrated real quick.

Great for price
Great amount and quality FOR THE PRICE. No boarder, a bit fine , and difficult to handle DONT LET IT TOUCH THE GROUND. But over all it did it’s job! Would recommend! Even enough left for an amazing hat!!

Great quality
I have a huge Koi pond that I have Blue Heron and Asprey always trying to hunt my fish. I have put this net over my pond and it is great quality, does not rip when I put it over screws to keep it taunt, and works exactly as I needed it to.

Great for birds, don't use on ground
These were recommended to keep mulch from shifting downhill. They worked perfectly. Today I had to rescue a well loved Indigo snake stuck between the strong mesh. Without intervention she/he most certainly would die. Please use this above ground, like my blueberry bushes!

Horrible!
Horrible product. Birds are walking right through it. Rips at a slightest touch.

I'm sure its a great net..but for us it was more issues than resolutions
Net is great. Lightweight and durable. However little black birds in our neighborhood are dumber than expected and rather than being discouraged by the net they ended up all getting entangled in it. Nearly every day a bird would get stuck and for some...that was the end. So probably one needs to consider what type of birds they are trying to protect itself.

Keep the chicks in and the hawks out
Good price for 50x50. Not easy to unfold and get the corners, definitely a 2 man job. We put it over a chicken run to keep the hawks out. Should do the job.
