ASUTRA Lavender Pillow Spray for Sleeping (Lavender & Chamomile), 4 fl oz – Sleep Mist Spray for Pillows, Bed & Linens, Deep Sleep Essential Oil

I recently ran out of another natural lavender spray that I only used occasionally. I saw this one on Amazon, loved the fact that it's cruelty-free, women-owned, and has other ethically/environmentally friendly values I share, plus at a great price, and thought I'd give it a try. During the day, I spritzed a little around me. I was amazed at the quality, combination, and balance of the lavender and camomile essential oils, and after two spritzes, how quickly anxious and stressful feelings almost diminished entirely and I felt calm, peaceful, and relaxed. The other product I mentioned above was nice, but did not have such a potent effect on me. At night, I used the Asutra Mist again on my pillow case and a little over the bed. I was able to relax, release anxious thoughts, and fall asleep more quickly than normal, which is a big plus for me! I will be exploring the other products that Asutra offers, too! I'm so glad I found this product!

Ordering my second bottle so I have one for upstairs and one for my daughter's room! It smells lovely and not overpowering. I use it in my daughter's crib and call it "sleepy spray", my husband and I use it on our bed and I also spray it on curtains and rugs after I clean and/or before we're having company. It doesn't appear to leave any kind of residue. My daughter and I have super sensitive skin and neither of us have a problem with spraying this on our linens. I use 2-3 spritzes on the bed each night. The bottle lasts a while, so it seems like a good value for the price. For me, the only downside is that the smell does fade fairly quickly, however I think if they made the smell last longer, then the initial product might be too overpowering at first, so that's probably for the better. Overall I think it's a great product. Highly recommend! ***Updated June 2018 - I ordered a second bottle and was super disappointed that it smelled nothing like the first bottle. I had to check the label to make sure I had the right one. It was a distinctly different smell, even my 2 year old noticed. I spray this by her crib every night and can’t use the 2nd bottle because it’s too different and not a smell that any of us particularly enjoy. Not sure if it was some kind of mix up, or if the frangrances from bottle to bottle can vary that greatly. Afraid to order again if the smells are inconsistent. Would like to get in contact with the company to find out why.

Having over twenty years of retail sales experience and in the interest of complete transparency and fairness, I must say this product absolutely exceeded my expectations with regards to energizing and waking me up. Thanks in large part to this aromatherapy mist, getting up daily at 5AM isn’t nearly the chore it used to be. This being said, I would STRONGLY advise the maker to provide a warning notice clearly on the bottle as to the damage this mist can do if accidentally introduced into the eyes. Within a week of having received this Anytime spray, the nozzle became defective causing oil residue on my fingers, and then on contacts, as a result, even after thoroughly washing my hands. Two days and nearly $100 later for a dr’s visit and antibiotic drops, I’m only now getting over the worst of acute conjunctivitis caused by chemical burns. Trust me when I say the initial sensation was excruciating. Aside from feeling as if I’d done the tango with a spitting cobra, a copay I hadn’t planned for, having to toss the damaged contacts and stuck for a week wearing glasses I’ve had since seventh grade and can’t seem to part with, this aromatherapy does admittedly smell great and DOES get you energized. For the sake of all that’s holy though, do everything possible to avoid eye contact whatsoever.

From packaging to quality of ingredients to customer service this is just about as perfect as you can get with a bottle of aromatherapy! Packing: The bottle has a comfy, solid feel - not cheap. No worries of the plastic degrading into the product you are breathing. The spray is consistent and even. Quality of ingredients: All listed ingredients are natural, with no surprise chemical additives that are difficult to pronounce. The scent is strong at first spray, but fades evenly and never has an artificial, chemically smell (I'm super sensitive to synthetic scents and perfumes, and even laying my head on a pillow sprayed with this I get no allergic reaction at all!). Customer Service: not only did it ship immediately and arrive well packaged but the product maker sent an email letting me know it shipped, with suggestions for use and direct contact information should I want to reach them. A few days after receiving it I got a second email checking that I had received it, how to get a hold of Amazon if I hadn't and making sure I was happy with the product!!! Wow. That is the kind of care I wish every company put into their work and products! A final note: My only caveat is that the chamomile is a little heavy compared to the lavender and I'm such a fan girl of lavender that I'd prefer it be more forward in the scent. So keep that in mind if you are going for a real strong lavender scent. However, in terms of efficacy - I sleep so amazingly well with just a light spritz of this fantastic product! 💜

I do like this mist, and the price is reasonable. What I was a little disappointed in is that I don't get the lavender scent so much. It's a more sweet scented product than I like. I'd like more lavender and less of whatever other scent(s) is there. A little goes a long way - I misted my pillows and sheets that morning and it was still there that evening, and even days later I could catch a whiff of it - 5.0 stars on how potent this mist is! The bottle will last a long time. I am very happy with that. It's gentle enough to use anywhere - even as a body mist, though I would not since it's not a scent I want to follow me around all day. Please do not misunderstand: the scent is not bad or off, it's just too sweet for me. I just wanted more lavender. Underlying that scent is a freshness that I liked. I could smell it from the other room in my lil Log House after I misted my linens. I did like that, and if this product, as I wrote above, had a more lavender-scented quality instead of the sweet scent, I'd be giving it 4-5 stars. I do recommend - if you like a more sweet-fresh scent.

I was skeptical about this product but I have to admit it did help calm me down for a good nights sleep. The smell was not overwhelming at all. Just spray it above your pillow, wait a few minutes, and sleep well.

The mini samplers are the perfect size for my small nightstand and to carry in my pocket. I use the peppermint rosemary spray as a "reward" for finishing a task it keeps me awake and a gentle tingle lingers on my skin. The lavender chamomile is nice at night when I am winding down and want to transition to reading or breathwork. Citrus and eucalyptus I use when I want to feel brighter and happier. It makes me think of koalas in the sunshine. I am tempted to buy more of this sampler size and throw them in my bags or put them in multiple rooms of my house or vehicles. One or two sprays is more than enough, so these should last me quite some time.

I've had eye masks with dried lavender in them that were SO amazing to use, but they do fade after a few months, so I thought I'd try this. The 5 star reviews had my hopes pretty high, so I'm really disappointed. The Good: The spray arrived quickly, looks exactly like the image, and was packaged well. The day before, I got an email with instructions and a message to contact the co-owner if there was a problem with the item. When it arrived, there was a similar note inside, I get the impression that they care about their quality control, so that's good. The Bad: It only took one spray to know I really didn't like it, but I sprayed my pillow to be sure anyway. The smell is REALLY strong, cloyingly sweet floral, _very much_ like perfume, so I agree with the other reviewer who said the same on that. It DOES smell like lavender, but the chamomile is incredibly overpowering, and the lavender is underneath. I may just be VERY able to smell all of the notes, but it's way too much for me. It is a bit like having a coworker with too much perfume on, or yes, unfortunately, I can see how it also smells a bit like bathroom deodorizer. :-/ I'm sensitive to fragrances, so I'm going to have to crack a window to air the room. (On the good side, if you DO like the smell, you'll appreciate that it doesn't dissipate right away, so it isn't like one of those cheap alcohol-based scents.) TL;DR: If you want to fall asleep in a FIELD of chamomile flowers and lavender, give it a try. If you want a more subtle, more pure lavender experience closer to actual dried lavender, or are sensitive to strong fragrances, I'd keep looking.
