Liked this for my inquisitive grandchild because the text and pictures match as you explore the brain. A good buy as I have seen other books more expensive with not near the information. Like this for now and it will grow for a number of years with their interest and expanding interest projects to learn. J.

This book is full of great photos and pictures. The text is clear and direct. There is a picture of a real brain, which is always a little ... strange to see. I wish the picture of the neuron showed other neurons connecting to its branches. Nonetheless, a very well-done book for this age group. I'm interested in getting some of the other books in the series.

This is a great book for young children. The illustrations and photos are excellent. For the inquisitive child the HANDY BRAIN MODEL is a"brain puppet" that shows the illustration on page 22 in 3 dimensions.

Good information, explained as simply as possible targeted to a child trying to learn more about how the brain works, and which areas effect what. My elementary age children thought it was pretty cool.

This book is good for a 2 or 3 year old. a great introductory book to the brain, you may want to purchase something a bit more comprehensive like Fantastic, Eleastic Brain, if you are introducing a lesson on the brain to an older child, say 8 or a higly mature/intelligent 5 year old.

The graphics are great and it is simple to read and understand. It could have gone into a bit more depth but overall exactly what I wanted for my students.

Expected about 10 times the number of pages for a $7.50 book. Good set of simple diagrams but at a Grade 3 level. The title is misleading. The book is a waste of money.
