Lasted less than 2 months before one of the 2 I ordered came apart. While I was using it the inner expanding rubber tube came disconnected from the nozzle and shot back like a broken rubber band. I have owned six different hoses of this type, they all fail within a few months.

I've had several expandable hoses and none have lasted. As soon as I received this hose I said "wow". H.D. brass fittings, heavy nylon exterior cover (no fraying like the junk polyester ones). I put it to use right away and realized it was way superior to any expandable hose I've had. I tossed my old two and bought another 50' one for the front yard. I'm sure these will last a long time!! If you need an expandable hose, buy these you won't be disappointed! I wish I could give it 6 stars.

We needed a hose on our patio that was lightweight, super durable, and at least 50’ but took up almost no space. And DIDN’T kink. Frankly I had pretty low expectations when I saw this hose on Amazon. Most ‘Expandable’ hoses I have seen are cheaply made with plastic fittings and hose material that appeared flimsy. So when we received it, I was struck immediately by its obvious durability, brass fittings and gutty appearance. I hooked it up and WOW.......what a cool hose. Did exactly what it was suppose to do and was perfect for my wife to use without getting frustrated at coiling it up or it kinking. I’m buying a couple more. This thing is amazing.

I have been using expandable hoses for the past couple of years. They all fail eventually, but usually not before 6 months. This one failed within a week. It is also heavier than the others I've used.

Three years ago, I bought two 75' TruTec expandable hoses and have been a satisfied customer. I am pretty rough on watering hoses -- dragging them across the length of a sidewalk, over grass, over river rock, over a patio made of pavers -- and doing it daily. My first ventures into expandable hoses were huge disappointments as I couldn't get more than 6-8 weeks use of the 'big box store' green hoses before they split open like sad sausage skins. I decided to spend the 2x more on these TruTec hoses through Amazon -- and they have delivered the performance and durability that I need.I am a very satisfied user and I recommend this product.TIP: Each time you finish using the hose, it is a best practice to turn off the water and drain the hose (typically less than a minute) in order to prolong the life of the hose.

The hose is lightweight as stated but because I have a paver brick patio it is hard to maneuver even though the pavers are smooth and even. The hose seems to get hung up and is even showing signs of fraying where I have pulled it over the pavers. I am questioning how long it will last.

Love this hose -- it's light weight but strong and not having access to several water faucets, I must drag a hose around. This one works GREAT! You won't be disappointed -- just make sure you order the length you need -- or add to the next length; don't short change your flowers and bushes!

I have wanted to get a good expandable hose for years, but they always got such bad reviews and were pretty pricy. I finally decided to buy one after doing much research and reading some very informative reviews. I was so worried because I heard they’ll break easily but this one doesn’t feel like that in the least. You can tell it has a sturdy multi layer bladder and a really nicely woven strong outer body that is really protective. I Am so impressed with it. I couldn’t wait to get rid of my huge hose reel box that never worked right that I can hardly pick up due to the weight of the old hoses. This 100 ft flexible hose weighs next to nothing when it is deflated and is extremely manageable when the bladder is full. No kinking or tangling!!!!! Thank you thank you. It reach all edges of my yard and had some spectacular water pressure. Better water pressure than I ever had with my old vinyl hoses, probably due to constant kinks. It’s actually enjoyable to water the lawn and my plants now. It also comes with a 30 day return policy and a year long warranty and a really nice storage bag for winter. Can’t go wrong!
