My old zipper slider fell apart (non YKK brand) on my inexpensive but well liked thermal hoodie.I didn't like the thought of throwing out a perfectly good jacket but it was useless to me without a working zipper.Hardest part was tracking down the appropriate size but found this #5 was quite common for jackets and bluejeans too.Replacing was a cinch, just start at the top of the zipper after removing the small retainer clip (stop) at the top of the jacket. No worries damaging the stop because the kit comes with the stops as well and they crimp on nice with a pair of needle nosed pliers (all you really need for a 5 minute repair).The zipper itself slides better than the original and no issues with the zipper coming apart or snagging.Happy with the purchase of this item and would recommend to anyone.

This kit works perfect. I had a couple work coats with busted pull tabs on the zipper. They had YKK brass zippers. I was able to repair both coats in less then 20 min. Awesome, will definitely buy again.
