Haven't used the reel yet so I don't know how it will hold up. It is a low end reel, but it was priced cheap. As in most cases you get what you pay for.

I gave 2 stars because this reel might be great for freshwater
I gave 2 stars because this reel might be great for freshwater. But that being said it was awful for saltwater. I used this reel for 1 week in the gulf coast just fishing off the bank and out of kayaks. By the 3rd day it had seized up and was no longer usable.

this is a great spinning reel, used it once and loved it, i accidentally ordered a size too small. so i returned it. this reel is great for low price. (purchased size 5000)

poorly made... handle attachment will cross thread... ticking sound inside of reel when winding as soon as I got it out of the box.
