I like to craft. And I find inspiration in a variety of places. One such place was a website that featured a clip-on chap preventing stick holder. It featured a pretty ribbon and a clip similar to the Chuzhao Wu Metal Curved Lobster Claps. Not interested in spending close to $10 with shipping for one clip, I decided to make my own.I purchased some ribbon at my local craft store, and along with my chap preventing stick, sat down at my sewing machine to get to work. I threaded the ribbon through the bottom part, and sewed a little pocket. Exactly what I wanted at a great price. These lobster claws are perfect for purses and little zip pouches as well as for making key wristlets.

I have purchased this from this seller for several years now and all I can say that it has become so bad that about 75% of these clasps are unusable for me. See the pictures I posted, the side view of where the clasps meet have evolved to not sitting very flush front to back and side to side. The finish of these have also become grainy and cheap looking with seams. In my pictures, the clasp in the left were from a few years ago and the one on the right is what they have become. I order about 100 at a time and it’s pretty sad that I have to sift through 7 or 8 before I find that I want to use. I will be shopping for around for a different clasp and different company.

These are so economical that I use them for many things and they hold very well. I will re-order when I run out!

I love these clips. The majority of my sewing projects are purses and bags - these clips are just perfect for those smaller bags where the wrist strap needs to be detachable. Great price, quick shipping and delivery. I will order from this seller again.

These are heavy duty, and will work nicely for my larger travel bags.
