The compact case and length worked great. The rod connects together well
I have several 8-9 ft surf rods. I only have short ones because I need to take it on the plane. The compact case and length worked great. The rod connects together well. The heel of the rod is a little longer than my other 8 ft rod and makes the casting a lot easier and goes further. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Toro Tamer is a great surf rodI'm now able to reach out and get to the water where the majority fish hang out! As always Amazon's service was second to none !!

Just received mine. Looks fantastic. Looks like great quality (rod and hard case). Going down to Naples, Fl in mid-November. Flying from Ottawa, ON Canada. This is one carry-on I'm holding on to. Can wait to hit the beach.
