I have a bathtub that obviously USED TO have strips of gravel coating to prevent slipping. Well, the gravel coating had long since run out, so the tub was very slick. I was shocked because I live in a Seniors Independent Living home - I submitted a "ticket" over a month ago and since they are way understaffed right now they couldn't get to me in a reasonable time - so I bought these to substitute for that grainly strips that used to be in the tub. My installation isn''t perfect I can see a couple look a bit crooked but I didn't have the right kind of ruler to space them properly. Thankfully I have a good eye for what is straight and what is crooked so overall I was able to space most of them 100% straight and at the same distance as the row before. Got them on in about 20 minutes, let them set for a little over 48 hours - using a hospital "soap" to stay clean until I could take a shower (I barely sweat so that was more than sufficient). Strangely I even enjoyed putting them on. They look great, they stick 100% and are easily as good as the old gravel type strips I've used in other tubs. So I give this product a 5. If your eyesight is poor, use a ruler to keep these straight and evenly distant or just make your own decorative pattern in the tub floor. As long as they cover the main part of where you shower you don't have to cover the entire floor of the tub. Mine were just as long as the gravel strips that had been there before and worn off. Time will tell how long they will last, but they are inexpensive and easy to reinstall (although I suspect getting them all up could be quite difficult.)

I applied these stickers to the floor of my shower a couple of years ago. Though I was told they'd slip, they did not. I'm replacing them because over time they've darkened with persistent use, as I'd expect. Good product which is easily applied by following instructions.

These are larger than I need for my shower niche, however I was able to cut them down and make them fit. They work well to keep the shampoo/conditioner bottles from sliding out of the niche.

The strips were easy to take off the plastic they came on and they stick hard to the bathtub. I installed them cross-wise, lengthwise would have been better for drainage. I was going to pull them off and reorient but the first one I pulled took off small bits of the bathtub surface. I had the tub resurfaced a few years ago - looks like it was not the greatest job.

I originally bought clear versions of these same strips 3 years ago. They did exactly as expected. I installed them in a tub and a shower. After 3 years though… they began to get a yellowing effect. The fixtures in my bathroom are all a mat black, and other than the color shift, they had worked great, so I decided to update them to a black color. I installed them in a v pattern in both shower and tub, taking great care to measure and ensure placement (they’d be very visible after all). After installing them I am thrilled with the look and safety that they provide. Super easy to work with and once installed, they never move. It’s added a touch of design to the stark white of the tub and the shower. Overall love the black accent

I have a hard time keeping bathtub mats clean due to hard water and lack of ventilation in my bathroom. These allowed me to ditch the bathtub mat without sacrificing grip/safety. Easy to open with minimal packaging. Straightforward and quick to install. The clear ones are practically invisible in my tub.

An update:As of today, October 13, 2024, most of these have peeled up on their own and they've been removed. A few are still holding on, and I'm leaving them there because they do the job. You can see in the pictures where they've peeled up.I'm sad about this, because they'd done so good before they started peeling up, but I guess the adhesive just wasn't strong enough. Had to reduce to two stars.Original review:So far so good! They're so clear I keep forgetting I put these in. They had a weird smell for a couple of weeks, but it's faded.Follow the directions! Make sure your tub is clean and DRY.Don't use your shower/tub for at least 24 hours. I did a day and a half.Sometimes they feel like they move when I'm in the shower, but I honestly feel like it could be a mind over matter issue since I've gone years with a smooth tub. I've checked these little guys out and they're still in the same place.They are a little rough feeling to my feet, but not uncomfortably so. No one in the household has complained about them. They provide raised ridges/bumps, which was exactly why I bought them. I feel more secure and less prone to slipping.Try them. I think they're a good value for the money and it gives me peace of mind, not only for myself but for anyone who takes a shower in our home.

I bought this at my husband's request. He was feeling unsafe in out shower as it was getting quite slippery. The strips were easy to install with the provided tool and they've stayed in place. The shower strips have just enough 'grip' for safety and are comfortable to stand on. With 24 strips in the pack we have more than one application for when they start sliding (hasn't happened) or could use them in a second shower.

Puede que resulten demasiado rugosas según los gustos de cada uno.Durante unos días desprenden un fuerte olor a pegamento que puede resultar desagradable.Al haber instalado anteriormente láminas similares, he seguido el proceso que ya conocía, que es limpiar bien el plato de la ducha, limpiar bien con alcohol para eliminar las grasas, secar bien antes de pegar las láminas y tras pegarlas dejar sin mojar durante 48h. Algunas de estas acciones no las indica en las instrucciones de la caja.Tras varios días de uso, cumplen perfectamente su misión y aguantan bien sin despegarse.El tiempo dirá cuanto aguantan.
