Washable Baby Safe Ink Print Kit for Hands & Feet

This product is messy but awesome! If you follow the directions included in the package you'll be just fine (and it really doesn't hurt to clean their hands and feet first and then rub some lotion on them first to make sure that their prints really show up). I included a picture of my daughter's 1 month old hand and feet print (on the left) and then her 6 month old hand and feet print (on the right) that utilized the cardstock paper that came with the product! It holds prints well, the ink sheets are most definitely usable many, many times before they need to be thrown out, and as long as you have extra wipes and some patience this is super easy! I was skeptical when I first got it because the ink seemed to be put together really lazy like (it's two sheets of ink that are pressed together so the ink doesn't get everywhere and I think you get two or three of those) instead of just offering a pad, but in the long run the sheets are really easy to use! I think if you purchase this, follow the directions, use lotion, and have extra wipes on hand then you'll definitely like this product a lot!

This product worked very well for creating footprints. I can only assume it would work just as well for hands. My son was already older when I decided to create prints, so I decided to skip the hands as there is no way he'd sit still for such a thing. I simply placed him in a high chair, and it made the entire process super easy. The ink does transfer easily so it is important to be careful handling the ink sheet and anything you've created with it. I always let it dry over the course of a day, and it set fine. Grandparents were very pleased with their footprint "cards"!

While the hospital offered to take footprints of our baby, we were so exhausted of being there that we refused so that we could leave more quickly. Though I didn't regret this decision, I did regret that we didn't have any footprints of our little newborn. So I purchased this product as a way of remedying that. We found it really easy to use, you just put babies feet on the little ink pads and press the feet onto the included thick pieces of cardboard-ish paper. Though you have to be careful that you don't screw things up, since you only get to ink pads and there are 2 feet, we found it pretty easy to do, even with a somewhat squirmy baby. We got four really great prints of both feet and are so happy to have this keepsake.I then scanned in all four sets of prints and now have them digitally to send to grandparents and others. I also plan on making some little photo frames for Christmas for relatives who would appreciate that, and having these digitized will make it easy to do that for everyone. Overall, a great product, easy-to-use, and well worth the price.

Was a little nervous to use it because of the reviews saying it’s messy and hard to come off. I got it in a timely manner, and had my mom help me. It wiped very easily off with baby wipes, and the print is very dark and looks awesome! I will continue buying this brand so I can track his foot prints for the next 12 months and see how much they grow!

Well, it was an adventure with a baby who hated to not have full control of her own hands, but, in the end, it worked well. They give you enough extra sheets if you don't get it right the first time. The ink isn't quite as quick and easy to get off the baby's hands as I would have hoped, and we did follow instructions. I'd hate to see what would happen if you didn't lotion your baby's hands first. In the end though, it did come off without having to put her in the tub. Just have a lot of extra wet wipes and paper towels at the ready, or it could get messy in a hurry. It's a nice, affordable, basic way to capture a special time in your child's life. It's worth the money!

I felt like $13 was a little steep for some ink, but I wasn't about to go out looking at stores for a cheaper alternative with a newborn. The ink is on little sheets, which is nice because you can mold the ink sheets to the baby's feet and hands to get them completely covered.Getting the baby's hands and feet to do what you want is another story, and I highly recommend having 2 patient adults and a sleeping baby. It took a bunch of wipes to get the ink off my baby, but we were able to get enough off that it didn't stain any clothing. The rest wore off on its own before the next bath.It comes with 4 ink sheets, and we only even touched 2 for 3 sets of hand or foot prints. I guess I'll try to keep track of this for a second baby. It also comes with 4 archival quality paper cards, which is a nice extra even though we only planned to put the prints in the baby book.

For my second child I wanted to fill out handprint and footprint frames with her prints just like I did for my first child. This ink print kit worked well. We needed new paper to fill the frames we already had. This kit comes with 4 perfect sized pieces of paper, 4 ink pads, and 2 moist towelettes to clean baby up. I first cut the paper into the shapes I wanted to fit the frame. It was only a little challenging but I was able to get the baby's prints done by myself. I did mess up so I was glad there were enough supplies to redo one of the prints. I was happy with how dark and detailed the baby's prints came out. Actually much better than my first child's prints using the original kit that came with the frames.

Makes great hand and footprints. Lasts many prints if you have extra paper and reuse the inkpads. I had these for my now 3 y.o. when she was a baby, and just used the same, 3 year old pads, on my now 6 month old! The prints still came out great! Washed of my babies hands and feet easily with baby wipes. (But there was wipes included in the package too.)
