My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Twinkling Balloon Playset

Beautiful toy, I like that it can double as a nightlight (not sure if the previous version with Twilight Sparkle did that). It comes with Rarity, Spike, and Daisy Dreams, as well as a bunch of other accessories and animal friends. the cups and other "picnic" accessories are on the tiny side, so wouldn't recommend this if you have wee ones in the house anywhere (I'll probably be hiding the little stuff from my 2 1/2 year old as well). Noticed that the "balloon" doesn't have the pink swirls on it as depicted on the show's opening credits, so I guess it's like one of the earlier versions of the traveling balloon, but this will probably only deter you if you're a hardcore collector. The basket is pink, not yellow, but I have read on other pony sites that the physical parts of the balloon are identical to the earlier version of the balloon (so if you have parts, it might fit onto this one? But since I don't have the first one, don't take my word for it.) The version of Spike that comes with it seems to be identical to the one that comes with the Castle Friends pack. The balloon also lights up and plays the theme song of the show (or part of it anyway, since we haven't taken it out of the box, as it'll be a Christmas present for my daughter). All in all, somewhat pricey here (I've read you can find it at big box stores such as Kohl's, which we don't have in Hawaii), but worth it if you have a pony fan.

I would definitely recommend this version over the twilight sparkle one, mostly because it’s going for around the same price and this one includes 2 ponies, spike, and more accessories. So the product is definitely worth the cost. Also, the nightlight mode was a great addition. Great product for any collectors, and obviously great for kids! There are small parts, so keep a close eye on small children with this!

I would have given this a 4 at best had it not been for the fact that this is suppose to be a night light as well but, the light auto shuts off in a few minutes which is not noted in description. Additionally, it is very top heavy and tends to fall over when played with. Other than those two things my granddaughter loves the twinkling lights and music. Oh, door keeps falling off too.

I heard that this Balloon was $50 at Kohl's, which, in my opinion, is completely ridiculous. You can get the original balloon with Twilight Sparkle (instead of Rarity) which was released around the premier of the first season of MLP FiM several years ago for only slightly more than what Kohl's is trying to charge for the new balloon. Amazon's price is, obviously, significantly cheaper than Kohl's price, even though they are the exact same product. Don't waste your money going to Kohl's! Balloon is the exact same as the original balloon, except it comes with Rarity instead of Twilight Sparkle, and the color of the lights inside the balloon are different, but other than that, I can't really tell a difference, and my daughter loves it. As a parent, one of my main concerns when buying a musical toy is the volume of the music. This balloon is, in my opinion, extremely loud, to the point where I get extremely annoyed and borderline psychotic when my daughter plays it over and over and over and over. I finally covered the speaker with some duct tape, and that cut it down to an acceptable level. My daughter's favorite feature is that the balloon has a great nightlight. You flip the balloon's switch to Night Time mode and the night light will stay on for approximately ten minutes and then turn itself off, which is great for saving battery power.I love this balloon, and highly recommend it. Just be prepared for the loudness of the music!

This set is actually sold in Kolhs stores in the US and it's been seen the cost upwards of fifty dollars, but in Kolhs.com, it is only being sold for twenty five dollars. This play set has three modes, try me, song, and night mode, each doing different things. This set luckily comes with batteries, and the instructions tell you what kind. When you get it, this is set on try me mode, which you can change in the back to the other two modes. Night or sleep mode will light up at the color blue, and by pressing the star button once on that mode, the color will change to red, and pressing it 1 more time will shut off. The last mode will play a twenty to thirty second song which I warn you is very loud, all the while changing colors with the music. This set also comes with a spike figure on all fours, a Rarity figure, and the not well know Daisy Dreams figure. This set also comes with a full tea set, two absolutely adorable animal friends, and a clip on telescope. To some of you early collectors, you should know that this set is a re color to one of the first 2010 friendship is magic products, so it's amazing and something worth the money.

Lots of fun, great audio clip from the tv show. The nite lite feature is nice. Lots of small pieces though, no doubt will be a challenge for most to hang onto it all

My daughter loves this set! It's very well made and sturdy. A little top heavy but perfect to play with and to use as a night light. She keeps it in her room and won't sleep with out it.

The box was a little damaged but it didn't effect the toy any, everything looks great!

Super joli coffret pour une petite fille fan des Little pony. Peut être un peu trop rose! Jeu original avec de nombreux accessoires de mini dînette et plusieurs personnages qui permettent de partir pour de belles aventures.

La montgolfière est sympa, musicale, lumineuse, et on aime les figurines et accessoires livrés avec... Mais bon, une semaine après l'avoir reçu, je l'ai trouvé à 15 € (une seule figurine fournies, mais sinon tout pareil) à la Grande récré, alors que payé sur Amazon à plus de 50 €. Dommage, je l'avais déjà offert, mais bon une telle différence de prix, ça m'agace sérieusement! La petite puce qui l'a reçu en cadeau a aimé, mai a joué avec deux jours et puis l'a relégué au fond d'un bac de rangement après avoir éparpillé la moitié des pièces (et perdu quelques unes) un peu partout! Je ne regrette pas mon achat, c'est un beau jouet, je regrette mon achat à ce prix là!
