The INDIGO LED Grow lamp is energy efficient and spectrally optimized lighting solution for a variety of horticultural lighting applications including homeowner/hobbyist, greenhouse, and growth chamber. The spectrum contains 12% blue (400-500nm) to support strong stems and compact growth. It provides excellent color saturation of plants under MyNature Grow broad spectrum all while generating much less heat and providing dramatic energy savings over traditional grow lights.

Larger than I thought so I'm pleased
Posting 2 photos so the inexperienced grow light buyers have an idea of the size. I purchased the 12V and plugged it into a small regular ole table lamp I picked up at a thrift store so the light would shine upward to my large non-blooming tropical plants/trees. (Pygmy Date Palm & Dracaena) Its only slightly warm to the touch. I will update if I find that the plants do not respond to the light but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it today.

Very powerful bulb
We purchased 4 different LED grow bulbs including this one to do comparisons: two 12-watt, one 15-watt and one 50 watt bulb. We tested each bulb at a distance of 5 feet. This bulb had an approximate 4-foot spread. When testing the strength with a professional light meter, even at its outer edge, its light readings registered higher than 2 of the other bulbs' center readings, many times stronger. We will be placing an order for 5 more of these.

Worked well, for 11 months..
Worked great for 11 months then died. It is made well but is heavy due to the heat sink fins. To give a sense of my duty cycle, I ran it for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. I suppose that's little more than a dollar a month, so I can't really complain.

Did not live up to led long life promise
It stopped working after less than two months and I am still searching for who to contact about it

it is very cool to touch when it is on
Haven't had it very long....it came in a timely manner...it is very cool to touch when it is on....emits a almost black light effect...

Light is so heavy it easily separates front the screw in part. Works good but be careful about that.
