I had never heard of this brand so I was skeptical. However, this is amazing! I had to teach a class with a hundred and fifty people in it, most elderly and everybody heard me perfectly. No feedback at all. I would definitely buy this again if I needed another one. Came charged and ready to go out the box.

I'm known as a 'quiet talker', and its especially problematic during board meetings where its not big enough for a speaker system, but the rooms too large to be heard at my tone and volume of voice unassisted with no microphone/speaker. This device works great, and I bought an aftermarket lavalier mike (see my other review), and paired together is perfect. Last board meeting we had a glass roof and it was raining pretty hard. It was difficult at best to hear people, but I was loud and clear. People came up to be afterwards and complimented me on my report - but I know it was because they could hear me without straining that made the difference. Its a bit sensitive to feedback, so I put it on the floor and with the aftermarket microphone with long cord, it was perfect. Highly recommend for us 'quiet talkers', per Seinfeld.

I ordered this portable voice amplifier shortly before the event I needed it for, so I was counting on it being the right one. Happy to say it met nearly all my expectations: It was loud enough for the room, designed to hold 100 people. It's made of metal, so it's sturdy, although just slightly heavier than other brands that are plastic, but not a problem for me. A belt is supplied or you can use your own...or as in my case, I just hung the belt clip on the side of the front pocket of my jeans. This position kept it slightly farther from the mic, and reduce the possibility of feedback from the mic being to close to the speaker. (It does bark if you bring those two too close.) At first the microphone appeared flimsy but was not a problem at all. TIP--It does need to nearly rest on your lips, as the volume falls off quickly even an inch away from your mouth. My only disappointment was that I was unable to use a lapel mic (my own, not supplied). Another TIP - If the device will be passed along to multiple speakers during your event, you may want to find some replacement foam balls to cover the tip of the mic because, as mentioned, it works best right in front of your lips.

This voice amplifier saves my life each work day as a high school teacher using a cavernous lab as an instructional classroom. In addition, II have dropped it dozens of times and it always survives! I love this speaker, but I hate the headset. The headset is made from plastic and cannot be adjusted. I must have a little head, because I cannot keep the thing from sliding off. Fortunately, I have another headset from another amplifier and was able to swap them out. The speaker, however, does a great job. It is easy to sling around my waist so I can walk about freely and be heard for quite a distance. I use it when I am teaching riding lessons, so my students are frequently at a distance and anyone watching can hear, as well.

I bought this product for my yoga classes that are sometimes in very large rooms with bad acoustic, so my students can hear me better. I did not like that the microphone was bulky and didn’t stay in place, but worse, the amplifier was constantly making shrieking sounds and I couldn’t find a good position for it on the belt. This went back immediately.

I got this for a friend who has MS and is in a wheelchair. He gets tired and sometimes even speaking loud enough for us to hear him at church is a challenge. We rigged it up so that the speaker is attached to his wheelchair controls and the mic is attached next to his wheelchair mouth piece controller. He was so happy, and others talking to him as well. He said he was less tired at the end of the day and everyone was also happy not having to strain to hear him. The sound is good. I know where are more expensive items out there and am curious as to how much better the sound quality is, but for the price I'd say it's a great little system.

I purchased an app with a stormtrooper voice and converted it with a splitter and using this headset and wow. Sounds clear and great quality. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who likes to cosplay! Comes very handy with the stormtrooper costume I made.

Sound quality is good enough. But after 2 day's using mic has become stopped working. Want to return this.
