Owlsome Classic High Top Boot Style Soft Faux Leather Roller Skates for Adult & Youth

Size measurements are a little off, so I had to return and reorder, but my foot is kind of between sizes so I never know, plus I wanted a little extra room for socks.I skated around a bit after I got them today and they worked great.

Nostalgia had me searching for a pair of affordable skates. The price was right on these. I followed the instructions for measuring my foot to determine the right size—highly recommend following this method. I’m a size 8 (women’s) and got these in size 6... perfect fit! These move great and are so much fun!

Quality wheels/bearings, but the boot shows no craftsmanship and the plates/trucks could be dangerous for larger skaterspros: Great fit if you follow the provided measurements, bearings are indeed ABEC7 and wheels are as listed.Cons: don't come with any tools (not even the basic double ended wrench many lower ended skates come with & you definitely need to check every bolt before you skate since they were very loose), the edging on the boot is not well done on the inside and scrapes the leg, the trucks and plate are all plastic/nylon (most with nylon plates have aluminum trucks), the plate is also attached differently than other skates and would probably be difficult to change out.Nylon plates/trucks are used by plenty of skaters but they can snap if used for certain tricks or over time with hard use. Honestly, save your money.

I’m a complete newbie with skates, so I don’t know terminology, and I don’t know what regular toe stop fittings look like.I bought these in August and skated Maybe twice for 15 minutes at a time. They were comfortable and felt good. I took them out last night for maybe 15 minutes, and I practiced spinning and stopping for 20 minutes. My left toe stop broke off completely—the fitting is completey stretched out.If you just want to skate in a circle in a rink, they’re fine. If you want to do anything else —they could be dangerous.

I gave them a 5 star for now. I haven’t skated in them yet but they are soooooo cute and comfortable. Going off the chart of the size I wear they are a little roomy but they will be fine when I put thick socks on. Also you need not too light skates anyways. I hope they roll ok.

Arrived at my doorstep the very next day! Everything I expected and MORE! Wheels and Bearings are Smooth and Fast, Definitely would recommend these!

These are super cute and comfortable, but the wheels don't work very well on pavement. They aren't the worst, but they could be better. But it is very easy to replace the wheels and bearings, so never fear!!
